I really liked this place. There are 2 potbelly restaurants one is in shahpur jat village and the other in bihar niwas. My understanding is they are run by same company. Now I went to bihar niwas. They serve authentic good quality food. The mutton and chicken dishes are good. Not too spicy and oily. I had Makhana kheer that was also good. Next time will try Pua. Veg thali is also good. The chutneys were too high on mustard and I didnt liked that much. Overall good food, ambience, and service.

Went there for early lunch around 12 and it was empty.
Due to ongoing renovation we faced some issues with the entry and exit plus the view had construction.
We ordered Tehri, gugni, madhubani thali and bihari thali - the quantity was good and the sides were really tasty. They had amazing parval tamatar and alu chokha.
Tehri was full of veggis and amazing choka hua dahi.
The atmosphere was good and the service was also very good. The staff was also courteous.

The perfect place to have an authentic Bihari cuisine. The litti chokha platter is a must-try. Also the sattu parantha platter. The ice rose tea was also amazing. The Makhana kheer was tasty but overpriced as per the quantity. Rest all great.

I had a delightful dining experience at a restaurant offering authentic Bihar cuisine. The ambience was pleasant, and the service was excellent. The food truly captured the essence of Bihar's flavors. My only suggestion would be to consider striking a balance between food price and portion size to enhance the overall dining experience even further. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this place for an authentic taste of Bihar.

The cafe is located on the premise of Bihar Bhawan. Other Bhawans, like Goa and Assam Bhawan, are closely located to this one.
The food is authentic and of excellent quality.
Hygienic ambiance and fast services.
Staff if super friendly and payment can be made via cash/card/UPI (whichever you prefer)

Wonderful Authentic Bihari food, with variation in each dish. I would recommend Kathal Biryani. Great sweet dish too: Makhana kheer and Boondi Yogurt. Pua takes time, so preorder

A very nice place to enjoy authentic Bihari cuisines! The place has indoor and outdoor seating with a good ambience. Litti chokha platter is a must try.

Try delicious #Bihari food at #PotBelly Chanakyapuri. It's located right inside Bihar Niwas. There's a plethora of choices for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. 🌿
Food from almost every region and district of Bihar is available here. Must try if you love experimenting. 🙂
