Not for the weak hearted... The Himalayan kitchen is everything it promises to be. The interiors makes you forget the congestion outside and transports you to the mountains. The menu is a very well researched and diverse fare from the mountains. However watch out for the spice levels... Which comes without any warning... You need to caution the server of your fiery levels. Other than that a nice experience.

A restaurant that serves food from across the length and breadth of the Himalayas (barring Kashmir): Nepal, Tibet, and even the North-East. We tried the chicken thukpa (good, and a huge portion size too), a Yeti special fried rice (excellent), and the pork lemon fried, which is one of their signature dishes and is an absolutely must-try if you like pork: it's really, really good. For a little less than Rs 1400 for a meal for two adults and a child, this is superb value for money.

Chilly fried rice With small pieces of chicken is very tasty, a Himalayan touch with peanut sauce. Ambience wise it's average and gives u the feeling of Bhutan kind of places. It's on 2nd floor. Staffs are courteous. For food you can try again but for ambience, one time visit is OK. There is nothing special that special to see

I am truly in love with this place. The ambience and food everything is really good this place. I really loved the Chicken Momos, they were very juicy, had perfect stuffing and were steamed perfectly. I also tried the Jhol Momos, which was quite unique for me and I loved it, the curry was delicious and just perfect. Visit to Himalayan Kitchen can never be complete without having noodles, which were pretty decent, and was stuffed with a lot of vegetables.
Also, Nutella Momos are something which you can never miss here.
Definitely a must try place.

Great place for good quality food, and I am told good Tibetan food, by some of my gourmet friends. We were a group of eight and ordered a variety of dishes, even a Thali.
The meat dishes were very good. Tried all the options available in a limited way, due to the group that we ordered in. Thanks to Zomato Gold we also got a few dishes free on account of the Zomato Gold promotion.
The food was quite sumptuous, tasty and a bit on the heavy side. The only complaint was that the Thali took very long to arrive. So the person who ordered had to wait. But thanks to the generous portions even he ate from the others.
The atmosphere is quite nice. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I think this is going to be my new favorite place for dine ins!
Loved the ambience, loved the nepali music, loved the food! I tried the veg platter, veg dumplings, aloo dumplings, ginger lime, yeti special, veg thali and the nutella dumplings!
Can i say this place serves the BEST veg dumplings?
YESSSS! They had the thinnnest layering of maida and yet so filling. I dont know was it somemagic? TRY TRY TRY
The ginger lime and the yeti special is FANTABULOUS, no kidding..
The wai wai in the veg platter is to die for and the so is the kala chana!
The paneer in the veg thali was all hearts along with the dal( maa ke hath ka khaana yaad aagya quite literally). The saag too is worth the special mention!
The icing on the cake were the nutella dumplings, where the nutella was oozing out which gave me slurp goals altogether!
A must must must visit !

Whenever we think of Hauz Khas Village, instantly one is reminded of chaos of loud pubs and night bars.
Yeti is a calming influence amidst all of these.
Located on the second floor surrounded by pubs, Yeti is a quiter restaurant where you can enjoy the cuisine from the Himalayas as they call it with low music, bright lighting making it a perfect place for chit chat.
The menu boasts of select Tibetan, Nepalase and Bhutanese dishes .
While the bar is still not operational,Yeti on the cold beverage section doesn’t have vast offerings besides some basic mocktails, shakes and juices.
Our meal started with some shakes and Mojitos of different flavours and one could sense the freshness levels with the first sip.
The next in line was the TINGMO, steamed bread of Tibetan cuisine, Yeti steamed buns was served with three types of chutneys :
Schechwan chilly chutney
Peanut chutney
White sesame seeds chutney
Any Meal at Yeti is incomplete without a bowl of Thupka.
Thukpa is a Tibetan Noodle Soup, which originated in the eastern part of Tibet and eastern and northern part of Nepal.
Thupka at Yeti comes with assorted vegetables and noodles, derives its main flavour from the minced meat that's added into it along with ginger and garlic. Simple, yet a gastronomic delight.
The next starter we ordered was the CHICKEN DRY FRY, which turned out to be a delightful Tangy dish - Chunks of chicken tossed in pepper, peanuts and some Tibetan spices
MACHA TEREKO - Fresh Singhara Fish lightly very lightly layered with just a hint of masala and fried, perfect.
MOMOS – The manager was kind enough to provide us a mix of stemed momos (buff, chicken, pork), Stuffed generously...Juicy that the moment you take a bite juices ooze out tantalizing your taste buds!!!
Satisfied with the offerings, we decided to order their Thali for the main course and boy what a treat it was.
Their Thali had mushroom, dal, gundruk, sadeko, cholai saag, piro aloo, vegetables, achar, papad, curd and rice........All dishes were mildly flavoured with no excessive masalas retaining the original tase of the specif ingredients….Perfectly accompanied by crispy karele ke chips .......Dal tasted like the gharwali dal which made you feel at home.
Finally, it was time for the dessert.
We decided to try their in house dessert called YOMARI - Dumplings filled with nutella and served with vanilla ice cream was a perfect end to the wonderful meal.
Special thanks to their staff Kaushal and Navneet who were constantly their toes and chef Anil who was courteous enough to come to our table and take our feedback.
Highly Recommended

Located in Haus khas village is a very unique place I recently visited. This restaurant is based on a very Nepali-Tibeiean theme ,the interiors here are spectacluar. I fell in love with this place the minute I entered.
Talking about food:
Starting from Mocktails:
Strawberry Shake &Watermelon Mojito: both the mocktails very refreshing ,as one needs that in this hot weather in Delhi.
Soup:
Veg Thukpa: The quantity of this soup is quiet a lot, thankfully I am not a small stomach. This is a veg soup with noodles and lot of veggies, I must say it was extremely yummy than I expected.
Appetizers:
Macha Tareko: it’s a deep fried Singhara fish. Good to taste.
Shabaley: these are pie shaped ,deep fried momos like in chicken. They tasted yummy and were very well cooked.
Chicken Dry Fry: are chicken chunks with peanuts, very well flavoured with garlic and herbs. This dish ison a little spicey side, and very yummy to satisfy your masaledar taste buds.
Main Course:
Veg Thakali Thali:
This thali is a winner at this restaurant. Quantity is perfect for two people or more . It includes Fried kerela pakoras, Aaloo pakoras, various pickles, big portion of dal, mushroom in tomato gravy, Rai ko saag, papad, Steamed rice with curd.
Rai ko saag and dal stand out for me in this thali. I couldn’t have enough of it. Since it’s a Himalayan thali it is not accompanied with rotis .but overall this thali was outstanding than I was expecting.
Deserts:
Yomani: these are nutella stuffed dumplings in plain words,it’s a very different desert I have tried yet. With vanilla and chocolate icre cream..My sweet tooth was completely satified.
My overall experience at this place was amazing,I am really looking forward to visiting this place soon.

Wonderful little restaurant serving authentic Himalayan food, best to visit in the winter since all the hot, spicy dishes are appreciated much more in the cold weather. The momo soup and fish fry were delicious and the mutton "bara" was a lovely surprise - I'd recommend it for breakfast especially. Overall great food, pleasant ambiance, attentive service and very affordable (less than 1500INR for 2 people). We'll most definitely be back soon :)
