Karim’s is one of the best restaurants in New Delhi, one where commoners as well as the rich and famous come to get their fill. This restaurant has been serving the cuisine of the kitchens of the Mughal Empire since 1913. Karim's Hotel or Karim's is a historic restaurant located near Jama Masjid, Gali Kababian, Old Delhi, Delhi, India. Unmissables are Stew (pronounced Ishtoo), Mutton Korma, Shami Kebab and Shahjahani Korma. Thernfood is great value for money and the original outlet in Jama Masjid is far more atmospheric than its various branches.rnWestern tourists, South Delhi foodies and locals in traditional attire all sit shoulder to shoulder and enjoy the food, which is as heavy and floating in oil. Karim’s is said to be one of the best resto in Delhi. And I definitely couldn’t argue with that. They specialise in Mughlai Food, and the must have is Butter Chicken. Unlike in other places, their Butter Chicken is milder in taste which is just the way i like it. The chicken is tender and juicy too. It’s perfect to be paired with some Butter Naan. Although their naan is a bit thick but so fluffy. And can absorb the gravy nicely. Karim’s has several branches in Delhi. The main one is located near Jama Mosque. But this one is also nice and not too crowded. Be sure to look out for the signage.
