Govindas Restaurant

A spiritual chain of restaurants inside most of the temples under the auspices of International Society for Krishna Consciousness. The restaurant is situated inside the temple complex at East of Kailash in the South of Delhi. I had visited the place on the occasion of Durga Puja. I was on fast during the period. We had ordered Vrat thali specially prepared for the occasion. The food was delicious and a lot of items were served in the thali. We had our food after attending Evening Aarti in the the temple.

The food is good, completely non-spicy. The staff was courteous. But the service was very very slow. It was not a busy time, 50% tables were unoccupied, yet it was taking the food more than 20 minutes to be served. Soup, again more than 20 minutes. Please visit the place, good food, but keep at least 1.5 - 2 hours for a proper meal.

From the delicious and diverse menu options to the impeccable service, I was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience. The food was outstanding, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable time. The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion or a casual get-together. I can't wait to return and savor more of their delightful offerings! Recently I visited this restaurant with my sister. This restaurant has such a good vibe and environment. I really feel positivity. We ordered haryali paneer, masala papad, thandai, herbal tea, jeera rice, dal tadhka, kadhai paneer, chur chur paratha and kheer. Everything was so delicious and I really like it. Staffs was also polite special who served us. I would highly recommend this place.

Recently visited this place and experienced the good vibes with delicious satwik food which is made without onion and garlic. I tried their bheem thali which came with starters like paneer tikka and soya chaap item, than the thali was also huge in quantity and we really enjoyed the food, we even didn’t notice that there’s no onion and garlic in the food, it was so delicious. Cherry on top that, this restaurant is situated inside the beautiful iskcon temple so you can also have iskcon temple darshan before/after your food.
