Purani Dilli Restaurant

One of the best non-vegetarian platter restaurants in Delhi. They have a variety of platters available. The food is rich and yummy. However, the location is very bad and dirty and the restaurant itself is dingy. There is a huge wait time and it is a congested place. Yet, the food surpasses all, considering that the restaurant is inside old delhi. A must try place for all non-vegetarian lovers in Delhi.

a year ago I have visited there with my 2 of other friends and we have ordered Chicken Nahari and Haleem Biryani. Chicken Nahari was good the chicken was cooked perfectly and the gravy is also nice. As per the biryani concerned it was a nice experience. The place was good if you compare to other restaurants there. If you searching for old Delhi non veg special then this is right place for you. I loved the taste of all chicken dishes. If you are foodie then please try at once. This place is clean and hygienic. Chicken nihari is the special dish which i loved most. This is near jamia metro station. The e rickshaw is easily available for jakir nagar. This is famous restaurant so you don't get difficulty to reach here.

Purani dilli :- We had been there few days ago.about this outlet which has speciality in cuisine.. They serves Iranian, North Indian, kebab...this outlet is located Kurla West...And here we were impressed by one thing that there ambience.. ambience was pretty with dim light and was simply awesome...so was good time there..now let's start what we had ordered... So we had been ordered from speciality and Tawa speciality... Raan special Gul bahar...(speciality) Chicken Tawa pulav Prawns Tawa masala Tandoori roti.. All these dishes simply awesome which was totally Different than outlet I have ever tried..so liked it most..so please visit this place once and try different foods from different cuisine here.. recommended to all...

Good biriany, good halim, good afgani chicken. We also ordered veg daal and paneer for vegetarian friends, they too tasted good.afgani with butter was just awesome. We tried both chicken and mutton halim both were very good but a bit thin in consistency. I expected halim to be sooper thick in consistency.

The restaurant has seen better days. I visited and was disappointed to see it as dirty and unhygienic as any of the neighboring eateries. The food was never its advantage. It was the promise of the taste with decent hygiene. This isn't a recommendation to avoid. It is only to say that maybe it is time to look elsewhere now.

I visited with my family and we had Chicken Seekh Kabab, Mutton Stew, Fried Chicken with Special Tandoori Naan. We enjoyed every bite of the food. Very affordable and Original Cuisine.
