Dil Pasand Biryani Point

Dilpasand biryani point is also famous by the name of taufi ki biryani. They have only 2 types of biryani like it's basically the same but they have different meat, chicken and buffalo. Now taste wise it's pretty good, worth eating. But the price I think is a little expensive at ₹240/kg. Yeah it's expensive but the biryani is worth the price. Taste matters!! (Grab a coke)

Taufiq Biryani is such a hidden gem. Thanks to a friend's recommendation when I inquired about the finest biryani joints near Jama Masjid. The fact that this place came highly recommended speaks volumes about its reputation. It is a small cramped area with small seats, but great briyani. Specializing in two varieties – chicken biryani and mutton biryani, Taufiq Biryani demonstrates a commendable focus on perfecting its craft. A must try place if you are looking for some good biryani places at Jama Masjid.

Couple of days back, I had the pleasure of dining at Toufeeq Dilpasand Biryani in Old Delhi with friends and it was absolutely fantastic and memorable! The biryani was unique in taste, cooked just perfect 👌 and the spices used were just simply right. The restaurant had too small space but a warm and welcoming gestures 👋 that made me feel right at home. The service was simply nice as well, with the staff being attentive and accommodating to my needs. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality of biryani and service that I received. If you're a biryani lover and looking for a great biryani place in Old Delhi, I highly suggest Toufeeq Dilpasand Biryani. It's worth a visit. If you want to taste authentic briyani...you need to visit this place.. out of the world flavours. We also had chicken dry fruit keema..and it was amazing. Loaded with dry fruits and chicken, you will relish this dish. Well the calorie counters need to steer clear, because every damn thing you taste will be dripping with ghee and lots and lots of spices and cream and whatnot.

Good taste, little bit on the spicy side. They've only two options- chicken biryani and black buffalo biryani. I would've loved the mutton biryani at this place at it is more obvious than chicken biryani. I am from Lucknow and I love the taste of Biryani there, so it was a bit of downgrade for me here, but the thing is compared to all other places that I've ate biryani in Delhi, this was good (but not as good as Lucknow's) The place could've been more hygienic though it's a well proven fact that hygiene of a place inversely proportional to the taste of food(xD). There's a dustbin in center where you could throw the wastage and you sit around it like it's a bonfire. If you want, soft drinks were also available there, but I'd recommend to try Mohabbat ka Sharbat as it chills your heart and kills all the heat! If you are a biryani lover, then you shoud go to this place, it is not at a very good location though but still, if you are foodie enough that won't bother you. The way to this place is all dirty and unhygienic though, you'll be a little relieved when you reach the place lol.
