Odisha Niwas has 48 double seater rooms for accommodation of Government officers and people from Odisha. Allotment of rooms is done by the Home Department. Facilities available: Information kiosk with touch screen and internet, dining hall and library. No person can occupy a room in it without prior reservation granted by the Home Department. Priority in reservation' shall be in the order of the category assigned in website. But unfortunate part is the service here in Odisha Nivas is very poor. Need to improve very it along with the maintainance of the property.

Best place for having something that reminds you of our roots, I had chicken curry and rice and 4 roti that just costed me only 210/- only

Had snacks at the restaurant, the food was fresh and tasty, though I would love to try their thalis one day. Had rosgulla and some caramelized sweet (tastes like rasgulla only made from Chenna) in the desert. Basic sitting but the entire complex was newly built. All in all VIP charm.

I went there at lunch time. The food was good. I got deluxe veg thali. It has rice, arhar daal with a lot of garlic, brinjal and aloo chokha, green saak, raita, kheer, mustard stem curry, bitter gourd with potato and papad. The taste was traditional though. You can enjoy the sweet desserts of odisha as well here. It's a place to visit.
