Sethi's The Cake Shop

I bought cake for my son's birthday bearing aprox ₹5000. The name mentioned on the cake was in such a bad handwriting that ruined the whole look. Moreover on asking to correct the staff was rude in behaviour. Trying to fit in 3.5 kg cake in a small box with tapes made it more worse. Not paying less .. but the service is pathetic and not to be tried again. Remarks: if you have any function go for other shops like Mr.crust etc.

This is undisputedly the best bakery in the area. It has taste, variety, range (budget) and class. The cakes here are beautifully designed and their chefs are quite experienced with baking which makes them comfortable with customising N number of design for cakes and pasties. The bakery here is fresh. You can get a variety of baked items here from puffs to delicious biscuits and from pastries to pies and brownies. This bakery is one of the best in the whole city when it comes to quality. I won't call it inexpensive, but all the items here come in a student friendly budget.

As of now, the shop is open. Been open for a while. Went there a few days ago. The operations are almost 100% There are some things on discount as well. I trust Sethi's for their quality. One can get any confectionary items here. Cakes are fresh and delicious. One can also buy baking ingredients here. If you are in market for any special occasion, be it your anniversary or your birthday. Sethi's got you covered.

Taste was good however they are comprising with quality. Cake which we purchased from there contain fungus over it. It happen twice with us. First time we suppose due to heat in summer it happen however again it happen therefore think to share the review with artifact. Artifact attached in picture taken at home. Nowdays People can comprise with quantity however they can't comprise with quality. Hygine is everything in restaurant Ethics. It's humble request to owner don't sell the old items or don't use comprimised ingredients.

I have had tried a number of things from Sethis. The shop actually lives up to its long lived name. My family members have been eating at the shop from last around 30 years. The photos uploaded shows methi mathi, till mathi, Italian(garlic) mathi & Choco-chip cake. And I would give 8.5+ out of 10 to each of these. Pricing- the prices are very very genuine. Unlike many posh bakeries, it won’t charge you double for it’s name. One would find a lot of variety to choose from. Moving to the ambience of the shop. It’s situated in Kamla nagar/ghanta ghr, the area is a little congested but the bakery is very well constructed. Everything is well organised & is at it’s own place.
