The beautiful water body of Hauz Khas Lake, located in South Delhi, is a great tourist attraction. Built in 1284 by Alauddin Khalji, this lake ensured continuous water supply to the nearby Siri Fort 'Hauz' in Urdu refers to a lake or water tank while 'Khas' means royal, thereby translating its name into the royal lake or royal tank. This lake is surrounded by lush greenscapes, which are home to a variety of birds and animals like peacocks, rabbits, deer, etc.

It's an awesome place to to hang around, can go with kids too. Kids also enjoy running around and doing some gym in the park 😉
They feel good to see the ducks also there are huge bats on the trees, Kids loved to watch them as well. So overall a good place to spend a day well, walk, workout, run etc... Some love birds can also be seen which is common in parks these days😂

It's upgraded with an open gym now. if you need some peace of mind this is the best place to visit. Everything is beautiful the lake, the fort and the greenery.
