Bong Appetit

Easily accessible in Delhi' s Bong belt, the place is small but cosy. Traditional utensils used for serving food. For vegetarians it is the usual fare but non vegetarians have a long list to choose from. Dessert choice is very limited and mostly procured from outside. The price of accompaniments like chutney should be reduced a bit. Staff behavior is good!

Awesome food! Loved their daal (with a hint of ghee in it), begun bhaja, aloo posto (sumptuous), sorshe ilish, railway mutton curry and borisali ilish...the last item is a must try, it starts with a sweet taste of coconut which slowly merges into the heat of green chillies...it opens up every tastebud in your palate...just too good!! The ambience has an ethnic touch, although it's not very spacious. There was just a single person serving us but he was very efficient and really warm, took good care of us and received our feedback with a wide smile. The menu is elaborate for non-vegetarians but even their vegetarian items are very tasty (but choice is limited). I shall be visiting again very soon...and shall get along more friends with me this time.
