Anand Vihar Terminal (station code: ANVT) is a railway station in the Anand Vihar locality of Delhi, India. It is under the administrative control of the Delhi Division of the Northern Railway zone of the Indian Railways. The new terminal was developed to decongest the New Delhi railway station, Delhi Junction (Old Delhi) and Hazrat Nizamuddin. The terminal is modeled on the lines of the Vashi station at Navi Mumbai.[21] The new terminal also helped to relieve congestion on roads into New Delhi, reducing the load of a million people daily entering the city. The railway terminal is integrated with the Anand Vihar Interstate Bus Terminal (Vivekanand Bus Terminal) and the Anand Vihar station of the Delhi Metro located close by, thus transforming it into a major transportation hub of Delhi. Further, widening of the rail overbridge at Anand Vihar is planned as the current structure is not capable for handling the traffic

Visited for Boarding train to BE from ANVT via Double Decker AC chair car train. The station was not as good but convenient to get direction to platforms. Display board for train status available for ease of passenger. Boarded from platform 6, train already standing at platform half an hour before. It's a double decker train with Lower and upper seating in each coach and same as Shatabdi chair car coach. Train departs ontime and journey was good..

Neat and clean railway station, looks beautiful at night. Metro, bus and all other connectivity available from there. Very Good services. As It is the main Railway Station it's always crowded. New Development projects can be seen . All facilities are available here . Restroom , Waiting hall , Eating shops etc .

One of the biggest connecting Railway station in North India. Neat and clean compare than previous year. But also need more cleaning on platform and tracks. Shop keeper of platform cheating the passengers. They are taking more money compare than Printing. It's connected with Anand vihar metro station and Anand vihar ISBT.
