Tea Lounge

The room was very nice and the service was outstanding. I don’t know about the location since we didn’t leave the hotel. Don’t miss the restaurant on the top floor with the gorgeous view. We were lucky since there were fireworks all over the city. We enjoyed very reasonably priced cocktails and appetizers. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Be sure to look to the right and around the corner as you enter the buffet area, lots of yummy things to enjoy. We missed this area and we were too full to eat anymore.

This is an amazing hotel! We arrived after a long flight to a clean and huge room which was beautifully prepared for us. But the hotel’s staff really make this place shine, from their helpfulness in arranging tours to recommendations on what different foods to try. One of the breakfast staff was particularly amazing! He would ask me every morning if I wanted to try some Indian food and would then present me with a variety of southern Indian dishes. They were amazing! He then presented us with chai and asked if we would like to try more dishes. He was so proud of his country and food, we really enjoyed this experience. We also visited the hotel pool (which is lovely) and the rooftop restaurant which offers great views of Delhi. Again, the staff were exceptional in their service. I’ve never experienced such high end and professional staff at a hotel before, this place is definitely a must book! The whole ambiance of the hotel is amazing. We loved our afternoon cup of tea and cake in the hotel’s reception. The building’s decor and style adds to the atmosphere and charm

To start with the location of The Suryaa New Delhi is perfect with just 2-3 mins walk from the New Friends colony market. The room was neat, clean and well maintained. The bathroom was below average to the 5 star standards, it was worn out, with the shower not perfectly functional and some rust on the basin taps. (On the first night itself the jet spray started leaking from the early morning say about 4am and the noise was disturbing however in the morning the staff helped it resolved) But at the same time all the accessories were provided in the washroom. The swimming pool is good which is only for adults. Though you can put kids with safety guards but it gets congested quickly in busy hours. Food is very good and there is a great spread for breakfast as well as dinner. Room service is something I didn't't find good enough. I asked them to replace some things which they didn't, which i found very strange for the first time in any 5* The Suryaa New Delhi. The rest of the staff is friendly and good as u expect them to be. All in all u can give say 4.5 out of 5 mainly for location and food. I really appreciate the front desk and bell boys for their service. Overall a very good stay and an unforgettable experience.
