Rajdhani Thali Restaurant

I spent a little over a week combined in Delhi, staying right in the heart of Connaught Place. One of the biggest joys I experienced in the city, aside from spending a lot of time in ashrams, was dining at many of the amazing “full veg” restaurants. Rajdhani Thali was a memorable one, anointed at the door, you’re welcomed to sit & sample multitudes of gorgeous & delicate flavors emanating from the kitchen. Pure bliss. Thankful for the amazing memories I had eating in this wonderful city. Thank you from Philadelphia, USA, friends.

The biggest issue as a tourist is the language barrier, and I've never experienced a thali style restaurant before. Sure I've ordered a thali for dinner but this is basically an endless stream of food that's on that days menu. I think all restaurants need Google translate as this explanation would have made life easier but once we understood how it works it was a wildly enjoyable experience! The staff, though they didn't speak English, were so kind and happy and the food was absolutely fantastic. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a lot of food, a good price, and an unforgettable experience.

I have been here 3-4 times now, service is consistently good, not sure about food, The number of items served is great as one can see in the pictures, but some of the items are not good, maybe the raw material cannot be the same as what we find in Rajasthan/gujrat, but they try very well to give a wholesome experience with the food and ambiance. The location is good and convenient to reach. The washroom is clean. service is fast. dal baati churma is good. prices are reasonable compared to the location and quantity. worth a visit at least once.

I must say, this restaurant is a must go for people who love to try the various cultural cuisines of India. Rajdhani totally exceeded my expectations in terms of service, food, and the ambience. The services include many types of starters, main dishes, desserts and even hand wash at the table itself. Moreover, at a fixed price, you can have as much food as you want. My MOST favourite dish was the Rabri and Malpoa at the last. I had it twice ;p

Awesome food and variety, the best dal batti churma I ever had. Especially a guy named Ram Shankar who was serving food with such passion and happy face like his own family members, felt so good. However, the ground was vibrating as we eat on the first floor because central ac system was there ..and the irony was that...it was still very hot...their ac were not working..

Good match of rajasthani & Gujarati food 😄. This restaurant serves you buffet option or single dish options. That was nice experience of food & service. They have lot of varities in their food like 4,5 main course dishes , 2,3 snakes , 3,4 sweets , 2,3 daals ,2,3 type of breads and chutneys etc. First time when you go there you just need to sit there . They will wash your hands and serve you food like our home. It's very beautiful experience I think everyone should take this experience in every rajasthani thali restaurants. My Advice [ Try everything once what they are serving you they will say name before they serve in First time . If you don't like it that specific item then don't take it next time when servent will serve you .........👉{Their every dish has a different taste 😋 so my openion is try everything they are serving you. Then you will got that real beauty of rajashthan }. Prices = 625+GST for 6 days ( 🎇They have special offer on only Tuesday you will get in 325+GST ) . This restaurant has everything a Rajasthani or Gujarati wants. Basic focus on traditional food items all the way from Rajasthan & Gujarat. During my visit to this place, I was overwhelmed with their service. Meal was unlimited and probably 25 plus items were served on my table. Thali was huge. From Dal Baati churma to Gujarati Khatta Dhokla, they served almost everything I knew about those two states. Buttermilk was totally refreshing. Best part, that was unlimited as well. Even in desserts they served many items like Malpua, Rabri, Fruit float, etc. Food was basic with light amount of masala which will please almost every guest who visit here. Ambiance is quite decent, family crowd was there and light music was playing in the background. I went their with my Family and we really enjoyed our time there. Hopefully will visit here soon in the near future. Restaurant is pure Vegetarian so I'd definitely recommend a vegetarian to visit this place.

I visited here to try their Rajasthani food. Absolutely loved the traditional welcome at gate while entering. The vibe was calm with soft Rajasthani tune playing in the background. Their Thali was massive, with food from Rajasthan and parts of Gujarat. Being from Rajasthan I could say the food tasted amazing, especially the Dal Bati. Staff was polite & service was quick. Overall loved the place and can be visited if wanna have a good unlimited Rajasthani Thali.
