Incredible little shop that is awesome for lunch with friends or for catering your events! I come with my friends for their paninis and prepared foods, as well as their baked goods! They seem to always be busy, a great sign, but the staff never treats you like you're an inconvenience. Always super kind and helpful! I got a large catering order over the weekend and they were timely and helped get stuff to my car. Can't recommend enough!

Great place for grabbing a quick prepared meal or getting quality ingredients to make your own. I have never been disappointed by anything that the deli prepares! The Flag panini is a favorite.

Cute little grocery store with deli. Love the gelato ice cream - they have so many flavors to choose from. Sandwiches, pastries are great too.

Breakfast sandwiches were salty. Portuguese Nattas and hot drinks had too much sugar. While staffs at deli were nice, Casher/barista was very rude and not attentive to my order. But seating area in front of the store was nice. Considering the quality of foods and customer service, if I have alternative options, I would go somewhere else.

Nica's located right near yale's campus. Area is very beautiful. In the summer this is the place to be. This is the best deli in New Haven and the entire state hands down. They never let me down!

Nica’s is an East Rock classic. I love stopping by here for a coffee. Today, I had a hot chai with vanilla and it was the best I have had in New Haven. Prepared foods are delicious and staff is kind. I would recommend!

Great little market with an exceptional, reasonably priced deli in the back. Our go to for egg sandwiches. Just make sure you know what you want to order before you even step foot in line, if you miss a beat their eyes will roll to the back of their heads…
