Awesome food and better service! We had the passion fruit mojito which was PERFECTLY balanced, the steak quesadilla which came in huge portion and the flautas which were wonderful! The salsa was fresh and spicy and our server was a charming gentleman who made the dining experience absolutely pleasurable and so inviting. Food came out quick and we were well attended to, would absolutely recommend and will absolutely enjoyed coming back. Very reasonable prices as well

I came 11 months ago about almost a year and it was great price, food and everything nice experience. Unfortunately, we go today and although service was good and food was great once we went home we decided to add everything up and noticed we paid about $70 more than we should have and that is without counting the $30 tip we left smh. I love this place but not planning on returning. I feel as if I was robbed.

Owners and staff are very friendly. The food is very good. In the summer the patio is nice to sit at or have a cigarette. I've enjoyed many a bottled beer or mixed drink. Watch your head if you're a guy over 6' tall going into the men's room. I'd go to Felix any day of the year except May 5th (too crowded & other reasons.)

The food was very good I had the "taco de bistec" and bae had "momma rosa." What I didn't like was being overcharged. A Corona beer was $6.50 and for the meals were very pricey for the amount of food that we were given. For the 2 plates which consisted of 3 tacos and a queso cut into 4 pieces we paid $46.00. For this amount I've spent less at cheesecake factory.
Pro: good food
Cons: not enough food for the price
I won't be returning..

This place has serviceable Mexican food at a decent price. They have some outdoor seating which is a plus. It has a dive bar feel to it which gives it a certain charm. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The refried pinto beans unfortunately are not vegetarian, but they offer black beans instead.
If you are in the mood for a cheap, filling standard Mexican meal plus or minus Margaritas or Mexican beers, El Amigo Felix is an OK option.
