Taste Of Brazil

On 6/4/18, we went for lunch around 1:30; our meats were dry (over cooked or leftovers from the night before). I asked the gentlemen who was carving the meat if I could have a different piece, which appeared to be more suitable to my liking. He rudely told me “NO all the meats are the same”. I politely walked away. When our server /manager came over to ask how was everything I showed her the sausage and asked her to feel how hard it was. She said I could see it is very dry I will ask them to give you a better one. I said no that is okay... I am never the person to send back my food, I am fearful of the special sauce. (If you know what I mean) She came back to tell me she spoke with the kitchen and they said all the meats are the same. I did not say another word. However, I would like to say ...There's a great Brazilian Restaurant in West Haven and several good ones in Bridgeport. Please check them out before spending your hard-earned money at this place. #done

Wonderful restaurant! We went for the first time last night to celebrate two birthdays and could not have been happier. Staff was warm, funny, and welcoming and dinner was beyond delicious. On the buffet, my husband loved the Brazilian chicken salad and I thought the broccoli was perfect. The meats were wonderful - especially the sirloin. All seven of us loved it and can't wait to come back again!

The food is great. We've been a few times. Choice of sides at the buffet is a little different every time. Desserts are delicious! Caipirinhas are delicious! One thing I must say, we go there expecting to gorge ourselves on roasted meats, but it is SO WARM IN THERE, that you literally can't eat more than one plate of anything.

I have been here a bunch of times and it was always so good. Last night though was not the greatest! They have seriously went down hill. All the buffet food was cold and not fresh. The meat was dry and tough. The dessert tasted like it’s been sitting out for a long time. The place was empty and I understand why! When your paying $30 a person you expect at least half way decent food not old cold food. Very disappointing! Won’t be going back after that experience.

We have been to Brazilian steakhouse before but it was the first time at Taste of Brazil and we enjoyed it so much. Great food and onbience. Service was excellent and our waitress Laura was fantastic. When I reserved I mentioned that it's my wife's birthday. After dinner she made sure to bring the cake with candle. Will differently going back soon. It worth every penny.
