Absolutely amazing and great deals from 4-7pm, they will also be bringing in chocolate fondue soon! Enjoy the mouth watering Raclette and fondue with some wine on the side. You will not be disappointed.

Waited an hour for a small salad. Small portions of food that was overpriced. The burger was dry. And I love cheese but I wanted just plain potatoes but the woman just walked up and cut some cheese at least it should be an option to have cheese. I thought the set up was a bit unorganized. Very little options for dinner and desert. Uncomfortable seating. The waitress couldn’t even open the bottle of wine. The check came in a box? I wouldn’t come here again. I would go to another restaurant.

It was a delightful dinner of cheese! I'd add another $ to the listing as it was $25/person for fondue. Add a bottle of wine and it makes for a delicious meal. We had the shallots. I would highly recommend this as your destination for anything fondue. A shining example of fonduage!

My first fondue experience. Went with a group of 4 on a weekday evening and the place was empty. I don't know why it wasn't packed, but once word gets out I expect it will be. We tried two different pots of fondue and between all of us, we couldn't finish them. More than enough food for all of us. My only little complaint is I wish there were more options to dip into the fondue. Ours only came with bread (which was fine), but I believe you can order a couple of different things to dip for an additional fee.

We had a weird experience there, and, for the first time in many many years, my tip was 15% only. Very poor hospitality, poor lighting, loud music, poor design/structure (restrooms, for instance, are located in a minute-long walking distance in a neighboring building). Now about food: for someone who used to live in France, I was unpleasantly surprised by raclette at "Au Chalet". You won't have a truckle of cheese melting on your table. Instead, you will be served with JUST A SCOOP of molten cheese! Second, their menu had three choices of salad, yet they lacked one ingredient for one of the salads, never let us know about it and just served us with this salads without a major ingredient (strawberry). I would expect the staff to let us know before serving and ask if want to make another choice (let alone the fact that we were fully charged for this handicapped salad). On a positive side, you will leave this place slightly hungry that is certainly good for your health... Needless to say: very weird place, will never go there again and won't recommend to any of our friends.

start with 1 star for decor. upon opening the door it seemed like we entered a mountain hut. nice. Last Saturday (feb. 1, 2020) evening & i took my daughter & my mother to Au Chalet looking forward to a charming dinner of raclette served in a tradition style i.e., melted top of half wheel of cheese scrapped over one's dinner plate. what we got was completely ripped off. our dinner, if one can call it that, consisted of a small arugula only salad (nicely dressed, but boring), 3 slices of only ! style of salami with 3 cornichons (pickles) atop, pre-sliced raclette cheese & boiled potatoes. hardly charcuterie for $24 per plate. these potatoes were boiled perfectly; however, totally lacking any seasoning... while this maybe classic as a dinner entree in Switzerland ....a bore stateside. salt & pepper perhaps an herb? also, during my research before heading there i read reviewed: great assortment of beers (only 4 listed & was told that they only had Leffe, which i had), 1 picture showed a fine assortment of charcuterie and another shown a proper melting system... we were given a toaster oven to cook our own pre-sliced cheese... looking like the same raclette one can pick-up at Trader Joe's for $5.99 per half pound. i could've made this same thing at home for a total of $10 for the 3 of us, not $72. with my beer & 1 glass of wine i walked out paying over $100 with tip (why i did tip i don't know)... not much or average for a typical dinner: however, this was robbery. ending with 1 star for decor. saddened.

Not the largest selection of food but everything is amazing. It's like you are transported to a Swiss alps ski resort. They cover everything in meltly yummy cheese. They have different cheese fondues and they have meltly cheese they pour over a burger, bratwurst, or charcuterie plate. Bonus they have a small but great selection of wines

Melted cheese. What else is there to say? Also great wine and ambience at a great price, especially during the happy hour. Will definitely be back often.
