Sesame Falafel

I stopped in here on a whim, and my curiosity was well rewarded with a wonderfully tasty kofta kebab sandwich. Since then I have become a regular visitor to Sesame Falafel, usually to enjoy a falafel pita. The falafel always possess a nice crispiness, and my pita always feels nice and packed with those chickpea patties, sauce, vegetables, and the pickles that the restaurant adds as its own little signature - which is something I never realized I needed with my falafel until now (I personally feel that the sweet and vinegary tang is a fine addition). The good food all comes at prices that make it one of the best bang for your buck establishment on Chapel Street. Even better, there is no minimal card charge, so you can feel free to walk in without any cash. And the staff are always nice and welcoming as can be. This isn't just my personal favorite Middle Eastern restaurant in the city - it's my go-to place whenever I am downtown and want a bite to eat.

Hands Down the Best Real Rotisserie Chicken Shawarma! Not like the others who have there so called Chicken Shawarma in Ziploc bags from the fridge or freezer then microwaving it. Ridiculous. Ripping people off. Never again Mamouns overpriced old stuff or any other fake Shawarma place. Sesame Falafel is the bestA+++Recommended. Great price and Excellent quality and flavor!

I had the falafel with pita. Falafel was extra dark but under cooked. Very probably bad or over heated frying oil . The pita bread was like reheated or refreshed. The tahini was plain. Every restaurant sells falafel. I tried this one just because of their name "Sesame Falafel " Nothing good about falafel :(
