El Poblano Mexican Food

They have the best food. I literally went there two days in a row and the lunch I got us today was so good I wanted to go get more.... and I would have if they weren't closed. Get rice!!!! It's a mom and son who run/own this place. Everything is made fresh. Everything. They are extremely nice, I chat with them every time I go in. I eat there about 3 times a week and it would be more if I could make time.

I loved it when it was the previous owners. Now they have some people working with no customer service skilled. They took my order when I ordered it in Spanish and they still manage to mess up my order and charge me for their mess up! When I went back to dispute the price the lady got very rude and started screaming at me and snatch the food and the receipt out of my hand.. The food could be good and all but if you have no people skills then you shouldn’t be opening a business working with people.

Omgosh..this place is literally New Havens best kept secret! It's absolutely DELICIOUS.True,authentic,FRESH Mexican food in the Annex section of NewHaven,CT. Everything is handmade..even the crunchy taco shells!! I was blown away by the taste & the amount of food I received. Especially their signature spicy hot sauce! WOWWW! After having my amazing, chicken crunchy taco lunch, I had so much energy & didnt feel weighed down or tired! It's all quality, wholesome food @ such reasonable prices! The staff is lovely & very welcoming. I'm happy I live close by, because l will be their new regular customer!! BUENO!! 🇲🇽 💚🤍❤
