These are $5 cookies but they are so rich you should only eat a quarter of one at a time. The holiday dark chocolate peppermint version smells wonderful. Great stocking stuffer. There's really no place to sit and enjoy your treats so only a 4 for atmosphere. Most people don't wait to eat it and stand around out front munching with a giddy smile...

The best Levain Bakery in all of New York. There are so many good things to say about this location in particular. Where do I begin? The cookies are always baked fresh in the open for everyone to see and smell. The aroma hits you from two blocks away in any direction. All their cookies are cooked to perfection being chewy, moist and scrumptious. Their cookies are still affordable in this economy! Lastly, the staff are always friendly and inviting, making you want to order more and tip in abundance. Overall, if you are craving something sweet, don't think twice, come to this Levain immediately.

These cookies should be a NYC icon already - I believe they are the best cookies in the city 😂 the chocolate chips and walnuts one is my favorite. I was really excited to try Levain's cookies, the hype was real. And they didn't disappoint. Best cookies I've ever had in my life. Crispy outside, but super super soft and moist inside and super deep flavour. Just amazing. We tried the original, really nice, but the dark chocolate and peanut butter one stole my heart. Never had a cookie like that one. They were also super filling. What a place.
