The sourdough bagel with scallion cream cheese and Lox is undefeated. Easily the best bagel I’ve ever had! Great hospitality as well. The general manager makes the effort to check in with you and see how everything is going. We appreciated everything about the place! Definitely a bucket list bagel.

Delicious bagels! I had the bacon, egg, and cheese with avocado on an everything bagel and it was amazing. I think the picture really speaks for itself! Will definitely come back next time I am in NYC!

Ordered an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, untoasted. the bagels are top-notch...nice crust/exterior and firm chewy inside that is easy to bite through...there is nothing like the variety of flavors on the outside of an Everything bagel that gets punched up with some creamy scallion cream cheese! There’s a ton of seating here but be patient bc most times there's always a line. Always super friendly service. If bagels and cream cheese aren’t your thing, there are plenty of savory bagel sandwich options from the grill as well as baked items.

Probably one of the best bagels I have ever had .. we got here around 8 and just missed a long line. Quick service though .. has the lox bagel with everything bagel and fig and honey cream cheese on the pumpernickel bagel ….. and oh wow the coffee was surprisingly so good !!! I wish we had time to come back for more !!! It was so delicious - they give a good amount of cream cheese to bagel 🥯

Without a doubt, this is the best bagel I've ever tasted! Crafted from scratch, these bagels achieve perfection. The variety of options, both in terms of bagel selection and spreads, is extensive. Although it did take nearly 45 minutes to navigate the line, the wait was more than justified. The staff's excellence is truly commendable – they handle the bustling atmosphere with remarkable ease and ever-present smiles. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

If you are thinking of getting some bagels for breakfast or lunch on a Saturday morning, Tompkins Square bagels has you covered. They serve breakfast all day, have some limited seating, and Tompkins Square Park is right across the street. They are a classic bagel establishment with lots of bagel and cream cheese options (including some vegetarian ones). Do not be deterred by long lines as it moves surprisingly quick. Overall, I would recommend this spot if you are in the neighborhood.

Never a bad time at Tompkins Square Bagels! Always freshly baked and delicious bagels. Tons of spreads and toppings. Creative preparations as well! Highly recommend to check out!

I got a "Murray the Cop" bagel. They have a huge list of sandwiches. It was hard to pick. The line didn't look big on Friday, but there were still about 20 people in front of me inside the shop. The bagels themselves are made by hand in the shop. They are worth the wait. We picked up some extras to take home.
