Came here for my friends 23rd birthday. The service and food/drinks were so amazing! We were sat by Kati, a very kind and accommodating woman. When order we had waitress Shanan. Not only was she kind, but very thoughtful for my friends birthday. This is our second year here for my friends birthday. Compared to last year, the staff is AMAZING. Such a great atmosphere. Thank you for creating an amazing memory.

If people have reservations, they should be seated at their given time. Especially if there is a strict seating time limit (it does start once you’re actually seated, hence why we had to wait past my reservation). This was my first time coming here to celebrate my birthday. This place gets packed! If you have a seat with your back facing the bar, people will be constantly bumping you to walk between your chair and the people standing/dancing at the bar. This happened the whole time we was there to one of my party guest. One of your staff members took my plate without asking me if I was done. I did ask him why he took my plate & he said because he thought I was done because I had a napkin on my chips. I told him, “I get it, but you should always ask people if they are done before taking their plate”. He did ask if I want replacement chips & I told him no. My husband’s fish and chips was very oily and he basically wasted more than 3/4 of it. The rest of us (3 other people) didn’t have problems with our food. After those few hiccups, the rest of the experience was fun. Good music, good drinks and good vibes. I enjoyed the birthday shoutout from the DJ!

I discovered the Mean Fiddler a few months ago and since then it’s always been a favorite spot of mine. The cocktails are amazing and the bartenders are wonderful. Aaron is the best!! He’s always welcoming, funny, kind and attentive. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking to dance (they have a live DJ) or just have a few drinks and a nice conversation. I’ve gone here with friends and I’ve gone solo and have always felt very safe and comfortable. At the Mean Fiddler you’ll meet people visiting NYC from all over. I’ve met so many great people here and made many international friends. If you’re looking to have a fun time with great drinks and great people, this is the place to go!

Located in Hell's Kitchen neighborhood close to Time Square in midtown Manhattan, the Mean Fiddler isn't a regular sport bar restaurant like most Irish bars in the city, it goes above our expectations. I have been a regular at this spot for almost 5 years and I had the most pleasant experience with staff, management team and security guards. It's the place where I met people from all over the world (all 5 continents) and some of them became my close friends. I also brought a few of my childhood/high school/medical friends here and they had a blast. Cool, vibrant, chill atmosphere with one of the best bartenders in NY like my friend Aaron you can see in my pics. The management really knows how to keep up with their customers, the staff truly cares about your comfort, your safety. Foods are excellent, tasty, delicious (mostly Mexican dishes) and the quality of their drinks is top notch. This cozy sport bar is in my humble opinion a night club and keep in mind, they are opened literally every day until 4am which is not the case to most spots in midtown who tend to close up early if nobody shows up from 12-2am. As a google review member, trust my words you can't go wrong with the mean fiddler. As always, be kind, be respectful to the staff, tip the bartenders if you can (as you should lol) and enjoy the moment of your life. Had such a great experience at Mean Fiddler. Visited last week for bestie date night before our play. The show happened to be right across the street and Mean Fiddler has been on our bucketlist for a while. The bottomless drink option had caught our attention and it did not disappoint! Our waitress Mae and her colleague were amazing. Made sure we received every drink we wanted to try and the service was extremely fast. We both had burgers and they were good and filling too. Highly recommend. Thank you guys for your great service.
