Doughnut Plant

Some of the most original and delicious donuts I’ve ever had. Love the creative combinations of different fillings and flavors that can’t be found elsewhere. I think each flavor deserves to be tried out at least once, but the cake donuts are my favorites for being extra flavorful and moist without being too sugary. A special shout-out to the Brooklyn blackout that will sure please any chocolate lover! The signature creme brûlée donut is great, but a bit small in comparison. I ordered online and got it delivered which was really convenient, but just wish they didn’t forget to add cream in my coffee and included napkins with my order.

Best doughnuts EVER! This location does get busy and sometimes crowded. The staff is always pleasant and executes the order professionally. My only comment is I wish they’d be a little gentler when grabbing the doughnuts from the racks. I want to be able to take pictures of the doughnuts and a cracked glaze is not attractive. 🤨🤪 Creme brûlée doughseed is amazing and a must get! If you’re a chocolate lover, you have to get the Brooklyn blackout cake doughnut. The coconut cream yeast doughnut is fabulous! The seasonal doughnuts are also wonderful and appreciated whenever I get them and share with family and friends. They also make a really good cup of chai too.

Heard great things and decided to finally try it out. Went on a Sunday morning (9:30am ish) there were seats available. Excellent customer service, professional and helpful since it was my first time and I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Tried the creme brulee (their most popular item) it was delicious, a good size, not too sweet, the outer was was sticky- kinda caramel ey I think, the the filling was yum and custard ey, not too overpowering $4 Tried the tres leches filled one, so yummy and satisfying. A light sweetness and the dough is a good texture. Overall had an amazing experience and look forward to trying more! 🤤

I had my first Donut Plant donut several years ago, and after that, it ruined every donut for me since then. Yes, the donuts are definitely a bit expensive, but they are AMAZING. I found myself in NYC after a cancelled flight getting my wife and I from Iceland back home, and we need up staying in the NYC area and we walked 20+ minutes TWICE in two days for Donut Plant. Amazing donuts, definitely a must-go when in NYC! The vanilla bean might be the simplest but it's fantastic.

I decided to put this on my "we have to go" list before arriving to New York from Chicago. We specifically took a car service to this place for breakfast. It was well worth it! The staff was very nice and helpful. The choices for donuts were good! The coffee and latte was just okay but we didn't go for that so we didn't care too much that it was terrific coffee. The donuts were delicious I got a vanilla blackberry jam square donut and my boyfriend got the blackout. WOW! I ended up ordering 3 more including pistachio (which was YUMMY) to go. I wish they had this place in Chicago. That's a hint! Overall, would be my favorite donut shop spot if I lived close by to the shop.h

Stopped by on a Thursday night to satiate a doughnut craving. Found this place on Google maps and WOAH. The store was quiet and chill at 9:30pm on a Thursday. Turning to the counter, my friend and I were overwhelmed with the drool-worthy and visually pleasing doughnut options. We ordered 8 donuts to go: marcona almond, wild blueberry, mocha, black out, coconut, peanut butter and jelly, and vanilla bean. Total was ~$28. The young man behind the counter was super friendly and helpful in picking out which doughnuts we wanted. The vanilla bean, though the simplest, was absolutely delicious. The dough was fresh and ripped apart nicely. Glaze wasn't too sweet. 10/10 Wild blueberry was super yummy. Glaze wasn't too sweet, and even the inside was blueberry!!! My blueberry-crazed friend was delighted. 10/10 Marcona almond was topped with chopped almonds. To my surprise, they were roasted and salted. Doughnut was a complete surprise. Not bad, but very different from your average doughnut experience. 6/10 Mocha: scrumptious. You could taste the coffee! And the chocolate! Not too sweet. 10/10 Blackout: sooooo chocolatey. Not terribly sweet. Topped with crumble. 9/10 Coconut: a square doughnut with coconut crème piped into the dough, glazed and topped with shredded coconut. I'm not the biggest coconut fan, but this was the crown jewel. Phenomenal. Got this for my picky coconut-loving mother and she adored it. Friend did too. 15/10 After sampling all these doughnuts, we were in a bit of a sugar coma, and called it a night. My friend took the PB&J one to work the next morning, so I didn't get to try it, but I bet it was fantastic. Can't wait to come back!!

The doughnuts are one of the best I’ve ever tasted. So good that I went in wanting one but end up eating two! Really enjoyed the chocolate one with the chocolate cream inside (can’t remember the name!) and the red velvet. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall, great place for a little indulgence.

Very good Doughnuts! All kind of colour and all kind of tastes. Square or round. Yellow, green or blue . You should have a coffee (or a tea) and at least two delicious doughnuts. Or order as much as you like and they'll deliver. The store is also very unique. Not like all the other doughnut stores. Freshly and delicious.

Loved it! A friend of our who lived in New York for over ten years recommended it and she was right. The doughnuts were delicious and the coffee was a perfect pairing. It was a great way to start the day and left us full for a long time after. The apple cinnamon was awesome but the coconut cream was my favorite! 😊
