What a great place and the Italian presence from the staff is like being on the Sapranos. The food was fantastic. It's a bit of a wait, but it so worth it.

I stumbled across this gem a couple of weeks ago after a show at the Comedy Cellar. I asked the waiter, Daniel, for his recommendation and he suggested the beef short rib with the handmade gnocchi.
One of the best meals of my life. The other server, Alyssa, was also lovely, and the atmosphere was kind, cosy, and vibrant. Pretty much the experience you most hope to have when you visit NYC.
Incredible food, lovely place, and lovely people. Can't recommend highly enough.

Went there Sunday night, it was packed but luckily we found a table without reservations.
There’s outdoor sitting and 2 floors inside.
The appetizers we ordered were divine & the termiso was also amazing !
Also owner is Italian & it gives you sense of home cooking 🧑🍳

A quaint family run Italian restaurant in east village with homemade pasta with excellent deserts with a variety of authentic Italian classics. A hidden gem with reasonable prices.

I was a little skeptical as we entered the restaurant, but the food we had was very good. The homemade pastas were excellent. The wine list was also much more reasonable than you would see in an Italian restaurant in Midtown.

This place is exactly what I was looking for! Old school red sauce restaurant with incredible food and vibes. Sat at the bar, had a negroni before ordering then had the clams in red sauce, Bolognese and a glass of red wine, and some tiramisu. Can't get Italian food anywhere near this good in Indiana! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and get some Monte's!

They served homemade style Italian cuisine in reasonable prices. Almost waiters are old as my old old uncle and they are really nice. On this honeymoon trip in the US, it was one of the best places for my wife and me from west to east.

Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Everyone so attentive. The zucchini blossom was heavenly. Everyone at our table had a great time. Will definitely go back.

An old school trattoria serving the traditional Italian dishes. The dishes are not family size but individual servings. The staff are friendly and attentive, the restaurant is clean and the food is delicious.
