Pep's On Grand

I’m adding PEPS on Grand to my favorites. Happy hour 3-6 pm 7 days a week is unbeatable. Went with Luke’s recommendation for the pasta Paccheri after a 40 miles ride from south shore Long Island. The pasta hit my palate & hunger like a thunder storm on a Vegas desert 💥. Much needed & fulfilling. Luke was very accommodating in all aspects. Letting me park my bike by the entrance felt like a VIP. Not to mention explaining which draft beers to try… Wonderful venue & spectacular service 💪💪🇮🇹🇮🇹

As we are still sat here and just eaten, I think it is only right to write a review. The service as soon as we walked in was warm and friendly. The food and hospitality is 10/10. The pizza 🍕 we shared was so tasty and with loads of flavour. Lovely place, with a good selection of alcohol. Definitely recommend this to everyone.

On Saturday, September 2, my family and I ventured to the Little Italy section of New York City. We are no stranger to Little Italy’s finest restaurants, but wanted to discover restaurants that we have not been to before. Before long, we stumbled upon Pep’s On Grand. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately seated without a reservation. It seemed like it is preferred at this establishment to make a reservation, although not a requirement. The restaurant atmosphere is modern and the noise level can be moderate-loud as this is a popular restaurant for groups! My family and I ordered the Pizza Burrata, Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, Margherita Pizza, Spaghetti Al Limone, and Spaghetti and Meatballs. These dishes were all delicious! However, after my party finished eating our appetizers (the Pizza Burrata and Margherita Pizza), we were asked to move to another table so that the restaurant staff can accommodate a party of 14. This has not happened before when dining in a restaurant. But, we were introduced to Giuseppe, and he profusely thanked us and offered us a dessert on the house as a courtesy for us moving to another table. Giuseppe engaged in conversation with my parents about his amazing tattoos and remodeling Pep’s On Grand. and made the service and overall experience spectacular! We hope to see Giuseppe again. I would recommend dining at this establishment!

Peps has mastered every aspect of good hospitality. We visited the restaurant almost weekly throughout our 3 month stay in the US and could not find anywhere which could match the consistent quality of food and service that we experienced here. Special mention to Luke who was great fun and made sure we never left as sober as we were going in 👍
