Little cosy restaurant in the mids of SOHO. Pasta, salads and desserts all tasted very yum and fresh. Loved the fact it had an Australian vibe to it. Well done!

The shrimp pasta was one of the best I’ve tried in the city. Usually there’s always a long line and the place is packed. Service was little slow on the day we went. But the food was awesome!

Ruby’s is a solid spot to get food any time of day whether you go solo, with a friend or for a date. The team is friendly, the space is cosy (if a little cramped) and the food is always good. There are options for something healthy like the bowls & salads or indulgent like the loaded sweet potato fries or pastas with an added bonus of gluten free choices.
There’s often a wait, but trust that you’ll be in for a good experience

I absolutely love how the servers treat the customers!
The food is extremely fresh and came out of the kitchen in less than 10 mins from be being sat down!
Take a look:
SHRIMP PASTA IS MY GO TO!! (It’s been years, and this never fails)

Service was top-notch. I really appreciated the recommendations that my waiter shared. I was craving something hearty and ended up getting the Bolognese pasta, the best part is is that I was able to make a gluten-free! The music was such a vibe, I couldn’t help but to dance in my seat.
The chocolate cake was really good too. Wish I saved more room for it though!

Very cute Austrian brunch place in the middle of soho! Cute for a day date or brunch w/ friends!
The food is quite good - the bronte burger was exceptional! I wouldn’t get tired of it having it twice a day.
Pasta was alright - cooked very good, nice sauce, but not too authentic in terms of flavour.
The coffee was alright - a little too sweetened.

Truly one of my favorite brunch places in the city. Options in the menu, service speed, presentation and taste received valid marks!
BUT it is a very wrong attitude to say you will wait 20 minutes and wait on the line for 1 hour. After all, we wouldn't have sat down if we knew it would happen, so I'm deducting 1 point even though I like it. Let them take this into account and give people the right timing.

One of my favorite spots in the city. It was packed when we came so there was a bit of a wait, but not bad. I had the Shrimp pasta which was really good. It had a little kick to it which I liked. My cousin had the Bronte burger with sweet potato fries and he loved it. And my favorite part is the dessert. Make sure to get that Sticky Toffee pudding! So good. Wish they put more ice cream. Our server was nice and service was excellent. Highly recommend.

We arrived at 10:30 on a Saturday so the wait was only 15 mins (vs >1 hr wait at noon last summer). Imo Ruby’s is a bit overhyped but a safe spot for some good Australian brunch food.
* Sweet Corn Fritters
My all-time brunch staple. I asked to substitute my bacon to salmon. Ruby’s sweet corn fritters are right up my alley: the cakes were light and fluffy, slightly crispy on the outside, filling with fresh corn kernels. 3 pieces of big fritters were ideal to share with your friends.
* Ruby's Ragu
Very average. It had a great amount of braised beef. Their other pastas look more attractive, so I will try their other options next time!
* Fries w/ Truffle Aioli
After reading tons of good reviews I expected their truffle fries to be an ultimate indulgence but it was meh. The fries were crispy and well seasoned, but I could barely taste any truffle aioli. All I could taste was only mayo.
* Ricotta Hotcakes
It came with 3 thick hotcakes, garnished with banana slices, with maple syrup and nutella on the side. We were all impressed by the honeycomb butter.
* Rose Latte, Cappuccino
Don’t order Rose Latte. It tasted artificial and weird. Our server was pleased to change my friend’s drink to a coffee. Their servers were super busy but friendly.

Have been going to Ruby’s for 8 years now. They have been always good. My go to menu is shrimp pasta and bronte burger. They are so good. Bronte burger has juicy patty. It has slightly sweet sauce inside which pairs well with the vegetables. First time trying the banana pancake. They were fluffy good and Nutella on the side can’t go wrong. This place is usually very crowded but worth the wait or I recommend going to Murray Hill location (taste the same, could also get little crowded during the dinner time) I haven’t been to East Village location. What a pleasure to have Ruby’s in New York City!
