Starbucks

I’ve always had a fairly good experience at this Starbucks because I typically go every day as I work nearby. Unfortunately yesterday August 11th I went to pick up my usual coffee order via the App. When I got to the side that you pick up Mobile Orders, there’s typically someone standing there, but this morning, as it has happened many times she was standing to the side talking to her co-worker so I went over to look for my name for my coffee. This staff member of yours ran over & proceeded to come over to me & at the top of her lungs tell me that it’s her job to hand ppl their coffee, I said I understood, but she was not there, she responded about how it seems like I don’t. Then told me ppl steal coffee, to which I responded I’m clearly not doing that. She said, yea I know, I see you all the time. At that point I was tuning her out to whatever she felt inclined to insult me with & I said God Bless You. I myself work in Time Square, so I know how annoying tourists are, but maybe she needs to be retrained on how to act at work, because that ain’t it.

This Starbucks is a great place to stop if you’re in town. The whiskey barrel coffee is unique, they we’re offering free samples. I highly recommend the avocado toast, it cheaper than a lot of restaurants around. It’s delicious and they had it out in a few minutes. Everyone was very friendly and informative. It’s definitely on my list to visit when I’m in the area.

This was my first Starbucks reserve experience and I was blown away! As you walk in the tall doors, you immediately get hit with the smell of coffee. It was one large area with a small flight of stairs down to a bakery with food and a small flight of stairs up to a cocktail bar. I had a flight of espresso martinis and they were all so unique and strong! If you order at the cocktail bar upstairs, they will bring up goodies from the bakery if you please. There was also a Merch shop right when you walk in with clothing, coffee dishes, beanies, and coffee all marked with the NYC location.
