Awesome Ice Cream Parlor, with a pretty decent Menu Options. Various flavors & the Vegan Menu is HIGH QUALITY & Delicious. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Standard Ice & Vegan Ice Cream. Also the Staff was very very helpful and the samples to find the perfect FLAVOR & the patients they have, INCREDIBLE!!! 20 OUT OF 10

OH HONEYCOMB ICE CREAM!!!!!! i literally come here for that flavor because it’s the best thing I have ever tasted!!!! perfect for your sweet tooth and to not share with ANYONE! I mean at least i don’t share mine, it’s just too good,,,, I got the Keith Haring pride month flavor- Passion Fruit Berry Pop and it was the perfect balance of tangy and sweet! Happy it’s here till 8/31/23 or while supplies last! According to an article on NOSH, a portion of proceeds from sales during Pride month in June will be donated to The Center, a resource hub for the LGBTQ+ community. also super groovy vegan options, they taste just as good as the normal options :) enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!!!!!!

I was in the mood for something sweet. On my way to a bar with some friends I saw this place out the corner of my eye. Im glad I did! I love pistachio and was very pleasantly surprised that they had some pistachio ice cream! It was delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Definitely gonna come back to try another flavor.

Forever my favorite ice cream place in the city, as they truly do justice to the pistachio flavor! Not an ounce of that artificial, distinct almond extract taste that 'pistachio' flavored sweets usually have. It's nutty and rich and creamy in all the right proportions. My typical order is one scoop each of pistachio and earl grey, which balance each other out perfectly. They also have a bunch of limited time flavors/collabs (affogato with BIGFACE is fantastic), and I always wish I leave more space after meals to justify an additional scoop :').

When I was researching vegan places in NYC, I immediately knew I need to hit up Van Leeuwen after reading reviews about the vegan ice cream. It didn't disappoint, I went for most unique flavor, Planet Earth. An amazing mix of fruity, creamy, and cake-y, it was so delicious that two scoops was almost not enough even with it being 40 degrees outside. Definitely need to try more flavors in the future.
