This place has got it going on. Great atmosphere and a welcoming team. The challah French toast was out of this world, cosmic!

Nice diner. They were friendly and attentive. Everything was clean and bright. We didn’t feel rushed in and out. The restaurant wasn’t terribly busy so they were probably a bit more relaxed than during rush hour. Definitely a nice experience.

In our whole New York experience, this place had by far the best guest service, kindest staff and great vibes. Our food came incredibly quick, was hot and delicious. 12/10 would highly recommend Cosmic Diner.

You can’t go wrong with NYC diners! Reliable, resourceful, resilient in any economy… table service is quick and reliable; menu is a variety of options.. breakfast served all day! Competitive prices FOR SOME ITEMS (my large breakfast plate (2 eggs and bacon and hash browns with turkey sausage) was $17!
But a small cup of coffee with cream and watered down juice totaled $9.50!!!!!!!!! (See pics). The cranberry juice… tasted artificial and or watered down… location is near all major theaters ….
Nice windows… large and the world passes you while you eat. Owner is friendly and watches his staff! My chip: is to ask how much does a coffee cost and the cranberry juice before you order it… Otherwise look at paying another 10 bucks for these two small and unrevealing items.

It’s funny how it didn’t show in the guides, and we just found it out passing by. Super nice Greek owner welcomes you with an open smile and a friendly joke, and takes you to old style diner tables. Huge portions, comfort food to start the day. Prices are good, especially considering the region and the quality of the meals. Not fancy, it’s rather a warm embrace. Definitely recommend it.

Quality food with fast service at a reasonable price. The brunch is great but they also do awesome grilled pork chops. A great spot that locals eat at close to Times Square.

The place to go for breakfast absolutely. Great coffee, great food and service that can't be beat. Everyone is super nice there. They kept refilling my coffee. Much appreciated. Lol

They have great espresso and cocktail. Perfect for late breakfast when you are on vocation. Steak and eggs was amazing. Good quality steak. Will definitely return on my next vocation to NY

Nice place to have a casual dinner. The waiters were very friendly. The food was good. Pasta sauce could have been improved with more salt. I will come back!

this diner is everything I've been missing in the city. delicious comfort food and quick service in a comfortable familiar atmosphere. the prices are very much what you'd expect in the city, but at least the servings are very generous.
