Mcgettigan's Nyc

Me my wife came in after the Billy Joel concert we love this place I do have to say they do not look like your typical Hell's Kitchen Irish Joint but it is refreshing to walk in and not smell old beer dark dingy place and still have some Irish flair to it. The decor is looks great needs to be appreciated. Octavian was our server and he was nothing short of amazing. The food was just as good as the rest of our experience the special of the day was mushroom and shrimp risotto nothing less than I expected my wife had the drunk chicken and same we loved it to top our night off the dessert special was tiramisu it was so good we ordered 2 more to go.

McGettigans is amazing! We called a half hour before and were able to get a booth to watch an ND game. The service was excellent throughout the entire duration of the game and I thought the food and drinks were reasonably priced for NYC! The playlist was awesome—mostly throwback songs—and not too loud so we could concentrate on the game. It wasn’t too crowded either, which was a nice change of pace from the rest of the city. Would absolutely come here again!!

It was super quite on a Sunday when we came to watch the games. They do have NFL Sunday ticket, but it was empty. Great space, upscale decor with o downscale vibe. Lots of taps, but beer was $8, so not budget. Menu was alright, but the online menus prices are off. Humus was $13, not the $10 It is listed at.

This is a total sleeper of a bar. Outside and the name looks totally regular but you go inside and it's almost like a club. Sports on the TV but not loud or obnoxious. Highly recommended. Staff knows their stuff and it's a nice place to relax. Comfortable bar chairs. Extensive spirits available although no menu per se. Would recommend I'd you're in the area, I like this place a lot. Wheelchair accessible entrance.
