My boyfriend and I tried Pomodoro while in town for World Pride 2019. We wanted to find a place to escape the dense crowds and to have a cheap bite to eat. We found just that and then some. The pizza was wonderful and the service was fast and friendly. We felt right at home. So much so that this is actually where I decided to propose to him. Luckily, he said yes and actually had a ring for me too! Funny how that turned out. But, even without the major milestone happening here, I would definitely recommend this place to any local or tourist.

For some reason this place became my favorite pizza joint while in NYC for the first time. We stopped after spending a long hot day walking around and ended up feeling starved. I picked out the slices that looked good and there was one spicy and covered in red sauce, the vodka slice I would come to find out. We stopped in at least once a day for a slice the whole week we were here, the spicyness seems to very everytime and we were chasing that extra spicy spice the whole week to match our first experience. Every pizza was good but that first one hooked me for life. This is the place I'll miss ending those hot days in after returning back to Minnesota.

Great pizza and great value. On June 25th, 2019 slices were $3 -$4.50 each and very big. Thin crust, neapolitan style. Free refills on fountain soda and no charge for water. They gave us an extra small cup of marinara sauce to dip our crust in at no charge. Waitress service at the outdoor seating area. Single drawback was that the restaurant itself was kinda warm. Was hoping for a little more AC on a warm summer day. Staff was friendly and they have their own custom bottled sodas!

Monster slice, crispy, slight spice to the pepperoni! Love it and will have it again for sure! It was 10$ for 2 slices and a bottle of water. Not too shabby

We absolutely love this spot right in Little Italy. It's not fancy, which is probably why we like it so much. You can get a slice or two, a nice bowl of pasta fagiola, and great entrees. The service is top notch: friendly, fun, engaging, quick. The food is excellent. The prices are reasonable. We visit this restaurant at least 4 times a year! Check it out when you are near Little Italy.

My wife (we are from the UK) wanted a slice of pizza and we stopped here for just that. It was busy with people sat eating pizza - a good sign! What can you say, the pizza was nice with a proper base that held up as you lifted it. Overall the pizza and the taste was good. Was it OMG outstanding? No. But it tastes good and she enjoyed it. I'll not be claiming you have to go the, but if you are nearby and want a slice it will not disappoint.

This wasn't our first choice but the other places on our list to go to were packed and the wait times were 60-90 minutes. This place was a 30 minute wait and we were getting hungry. Staff was friendly. Too many people packed in here to know if it was clean or not. Got a basic pizza - cheese was high quality and fresh. Sauce was really good. Not the best pizza but it is pretty good. If this place were in Iowa it would probably be the best pizza in Iowa, but it is in NY so its in a tough spot. It is doubtful that I'll be back next time I'm in NY but I was happy with the pizza and the overall experience.

My bf wanted lasagna, I wanted pizza, they had Lasagna Pizza, and it was EVERYTHING!! Simple fresh ingredients on a perfectly cooked pie. Just goes to show the small mom and pop spots in NYC are still kicking ass and taking names. Eat here, you won't regret it.
