This place has been permanently closed since at least March 2020. I live a block away from it and have tried to get google to list this as closed but they keep responding with "unable to verify". Attached are photos of the shop window with a "For Rent" sign prominently displayed. Additionally, their phone as listed by google is disconnected.

We were trying to look for a nice place to eat in NY that wasn’t a boring chain restaurant and we stumbled across here! Really cute restaurant with nice atmosphere and delicious food! I personally got a veggie panino, which was really good. My Italian friend got cacio e Pepe and she says it was some of the best she’s had outside on Italy! Reasonably priced too! Would really recommend

Loved the pesto pasta which was the only vegetarian(no egg) pasta they had. Quite a long waiting during lunch hour on weekday. Not much space to sit but you can walk down to Bryant park.

Four blocks away from the Empire State Building is one of the 4 Piccolo Cafe in NY, a must-visit place to have a cup of Italian coffee and eat something really good, whether it's for breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner! Fun little cafe with great desserts and pastries. It’s very tiny with small tables and is open in the evening. Our family loved the chocolate mousse.

It's big portions for a small price, 11 dollars for all pasta (gluten free substitutes are an extra 1.50), paninis are $11, gourmet eggs are 6 for a half and 11 for full, salads are 11, and etc. Highly recommend it for anyone wanting a bite to eat for lunch.

Was looking for a unique New York food place and this definitely fit. I can't eat gluten which generally makes it harder to eat out, but I was surprised by amount of gluten free options (I had almost the whole menu available to me) Good prices too. Would definitely visit again

I love this place! Great and authentic (there are plenty of italians) pastas and paninis. I used to go there twice a week for lunch when I worked in the area. The place is small (piccolo) but you might be able to find a table.
