Swung in to grab a quick coffee. (Restaurants/Bars are closed in nyc as of now, so grab and go for places like this) Barista was very nice and place was clean. Coffee was delicious. Will return when in the area. Please support your local shops during these hard times.

You order and pay at the counter. After paying, noticed they added a tip onto the bill automatically. I do tip, but the amount should be up to me. It wasn’t as if we actually had a waiter. The Greek Salad was more like a spinach salad.

Small but very nice place. Nice, friendly staff and amazing food. But most importantly damn great coffee ☕!

The coffee is good and even in the very late afternoon I could taste the croissant was fresh. Well, fresh in the morning. The cafe is somewhat hidden and the music a bit on the loud side coming from the radio, ads included, thus 4 stars. And oh, if I sit at the bar... It would be possible to bring me my coffee, but alas, no. So three stars it is. I'll still come again.

When I think about the quintessential neighborhood coffee shop, Kava is my first choice. I live in the Meatpacking and am so happy to call this place my local coffeeshop. Kava is one of those rare, cozy, beautifully designed coffee shops that blends the spirit of the Meatpacking, inspires interaction and has truly incredible coffee. The space is thoughtfully designed to look like a 1960s-cruise ship, and offers a variety of roasts from Colombia & Ethiopia. I almost always order the latte which is the perfect blend of caffeine and deliciousness, but sometimes I also get a cappuccino. Super chill in the afternoon as they have a beer and wine happy hour-- so it's great for dates as well.
