Campino Restaurant

Went in to eat lunch and place was pleasant. Order the rolled chicken pasta plate, which was a great and worth it, enough that I had to pack some to go. Everyone that came with finished their plate. I admit the plate was a little heavy, but it was yummy. Service was courteous, although we did run out of beverages and had to ask for it. All in all, great food and good service.

Wow. This is a bountiful and very nicely prepared “Paella Valenciana” as they call it. It’s not just Bountiful because it’s a larger serving; it’s when for example in addition to the clams and mussels in their shells, that there are lots of them hiding amongst the grains of rice but without their shells; they are like a bonus. As magnificent a serving as it is, my advice is to eat slowly to contrast the taste of lobster compared to shrimp or clams or scallops or chicken or… sausage. Why sausage? Perhaps because their excellent sausage … it flavors the back of your palette. I don’t know. But I noticed. And indeed will you too, I hope. If you didn’t notice, I'm saying that This was Tasty! We each encounter and enjoy life with very different perspectives. “Viva la Paella ❣️”

Went to Campino over the weekend with the family. Honesty one of our favorite Portuguese restaurants in the Ironbound. Iberia who?? I tried something new for once (a big fan of their grilled red snapper) and got their pork chops! Seasoning was great although the meat was a little on the drier side. I still devoured it 😂. My meal also came with white rice and broccoli (not pictured). I enjoyed the meal! Their sangria is amazing! I had the passion fruit sangria and it went crazyyy, 10/10 for sure!
