One of the best restaurants at Newark airport. Make sure to make a reservation at the United Classified website. Extremely quite with only 1 other party on a Thursday morning in the 20 table restaurant that includes stunning views of the tarmac which is a great boon for plane spotters. While most of the dishes are taken from the menu of Saison, you can’t put a price on tranquillity at a busy airport like Newark. Seriously rivaling the Polaris lounge like ambiance with food and choices that far outpace those of any airport lounge. If you’re trying to decide between the day pass of the United club and this restaurant, it’s an absolute no brainer. Nice service and quick easy prepaid checkouts thanks to the iPad even though they do take up a lot of space and make it hard to see across the table. Food came out extremely quick which is great if you need to catch a flight.

The place is above average airport food, it is a little oversold, food presentation is great and also attention. What can improve is either prices decrease a little or food increases quality, I can imagine difficulty to get fresh food all the way through inside airport restaurants but efforts can be done to improve freshness of seafood with such a price tag, example, pappadeux at bush handles amazing freshness at a reasonable price.

A fun speakeasy-style dining experience at EWR. Probably 4 star food objectively, but given the context of being a post-security dining option, a five star experience overall. Service is fantastic with super friendly staff, complementary amuse bouche (split pea soup in our case), and some drinks comp’ed as part of a promo with United. Still managed by OTG with iPad ordering, but a step up in service and menu options. Menu is similar to Saison, with which Classified shares a kitchen, made up of steaks and seafood and fancy sides. A little pricey but definitely worth a visit if you have an hour or so before your flight. Great cocktails with some fancy “service” options — served in a carafe with accoutrements and over ice. Amazing ambiance for an airport — clean, shiny and new, quiet, not crowded, with mood lighting and music. You could almost forget you’re at an airport if not for the pretty great tarmac views.

Great to be able to eat a great meal and sit and do work in a comfortable environment before taking off. The food was good... The steak was more expensive than a Texas road House but cheaper than Morton's. The wine list was very good. The internet worked great and the bathroom clean. Though, I felt a bit cramped at my table due to needing to do work and sharing space with a laptop and steak.

This is quite the experience. You must be invited as a United guest. Once you are, you make reservations. The place was nearly empty the aost the entire time I was there, so many people don't seem to be making reservations. You head to Saison (another restaurant that isn't secret), then they will lead you to a secret passageway. The place is crazy expensive, but they do have some reasonably priced options. The service os good. They do have the ipads on the table, but that must be an airport requirement. The food was quite good. They have 2 very nice restrooms.

Nice quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of EWR. About 40 seats in total but doesn't seem too be terribly crowded. Food is good and "real" which means not "sandwich wrapped in plastic". Good portions and sizes, good quality and nicely prepared. Do allow at least an hour or more to dine here. Ambience is calm and quiet, nicer than the Polaris and other lounges. Sit back and gaze at the planes on the tarmac ... ... ...
