Wok Ii Golden Gourmet

I placed an order for delivery at 5:45pm. I live about 6 minutes from the restaurant. I have been waiting almost 3 hours for my food & still have not received anything. I called the store twice & the woman instructed that I should call the driver myself. The driver did not answer but responded to a txt message stating that he is in traffic. It is 8pm. There is no traffic rite now. I’m so annoyed!!!

Restaurant is attempting to rip me off and I have no clue why. Used Uber Eat to order for delivery. Order was canceled for some reason. Reordered for pickup at 4:11pm. Food was supposed to be ready at apx 4:45pm. Wife goes down to pick it up. Says he remembers seeing our order but only has 2 of many items ready. Fast forward to 530pm and food is still not ready and the only worker there is acting like he knows nothing of the order. Wife doesn't want to wait any longer and wants a refund. Has all the uber eats and transaction information which is being refused by the worker. Tells us we he has no receipt to give us and won't look for our confirmation number in his work tablet. Tells us to call uber. I tell him he's marked the order as delivered even though we never picked it up. We tell him we'll wait but he's still telling us to call Uber anyways and is now refusing to give us the food even though we've already been waiting for an hour. Says to come back in 30 minutes. Wife leaves and we try to call. Says call back in a few minutes. We call back and is workers are now not answering the phone. Calling numerous time. Filing a dispute with both Uber Eats and PayPal. No real responses yet for help. As of writing this Uber randomly responded to me in Spanish saying they'l send this to their team to discuss. l Might be scammed out of $62.55 and get no help. UPDATE: UBER EATS CUSTOMER SERVICE CAME THROUGH. Offering me full refund despite not even being able to contact the this business because they are refusing answer calls. Uber Eats gets 5 star. Wok II has by far been the worst restaurant experience my family history in Newark.

🙃 TERRIBLE IDEA supporting this business.the CHICKEN was NASTY & OLD the RIBS was NASTY, the SHRIMP and BROCCOLI was OLD & had an ATTITUDE REFUNDING MY MONEY, DONOT SUPPORT this BUSINESS BOYCOTT PLEASE they are in a PREDOMINATELY BLACK AREA and this is what they are FEEDING THE BLACK COMMUNITY! ITS NOT GIVING!!!!

Ordered for delivery and the driver had an attitude because he went to the wrong address. Then I open my food to find a little bit of fries and nuggets, cold dumplings and cool warm soup. When I called them to report this, he argued with me saying everything is warm and that the only give a little bit of fries now. So I won’t recommend this place.

Rotten Potatoes - Unfortunately I had to select one star for the posting. :-( They get negative 10 stars for using rotten potatoes to make fries. They bought a bad batch and cooked it any way. When notified, they dumped it back into the fryer. Another customer asked what happened when she noticed that they were going to sell her the fries I rejected. They were upset because I told her what happened rather than apologetically fixing the problem. They had no intentions of making things better. That is a direct reflection of their attitude for their customers. They do not care. Good or bad, cook it and sell it. Someone will buy it. If they can do that with fries, I wonder what kind of rotten cabbage they're frying to make egg rolls? This posting is the 1st penalty. The 2nd is, I am never coming back!!! Start speaking up folks!!

Okay we went here because ny gyro king was closed for some reason, so we opt to go here which was the worse idea. They didn't give us what we order they gave us what they wanted to give us it look nothing like what we order and they are overpriced. I don't know who live in this area but yall Need to shut this place down how are yall allowing them to give yall 3 chicken wings and a half and still charge full price the people in the community should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this treatment.. I requested a refund and gave the food back this place was horrible
