Nubian Flavor Restaurant

The new nubians is definitely the spot to be again me and my family of 6 went there this weekend not knowing it was the re grand opening. We walked in with amazement because we didn't know there were renovations done the spot is clean and def a sexy place. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was soo comfortable we didn't want to leave. They had a juke box there which kept a vibe going while eating. The chef and his team had great customer service and constantly would check on us which we really appreciated because customer service is key that is why I decided to wrote this review. Highly recommend this place asked for their shrimp over rice and French toast my new favorites

So I’ve had the old and new Nubians food. Both taste great. I love the new Nubians whole concept. It’s like “vibefood”. I had there food since they did the grand opening. The food is soo good and flavorful ! I’m a foodie so I know good food when I tast it with quality. So far I’ve tasted the chicken I’ve rice with that special sauce, cheesesteaks, oxtails, shrimp and grits, homefries, Rasta pasta, wings, etc. The decor gives you NYC vibes. Check it out. There’s no long waits! Newark has another flavorful restaurant in town. Great for dine in and take out. You’ll love the food at this eatery. Your taste buds won’t be disappointed.

I ordered on Sunday through uber eats and nobody pd attention to my note. Salad, had no egg, no cheese, no cooked onions and no drink. My chicken was under cooked and made in corn meal or fried with fish. My food is usually good. This one, i pd for stuff i didnt even get and uber didnt refund and every time i call nobody answers... smh

I've only been to Tops once but the experience definitely made me a believer. The menu is robust and you have a good selection of dishes. Service was friendly, she could have been more attentive but not a big deal. We went for brunch and over ordered a little but we couldn't help it. Everything was delicious. Will be back!

I have never really had any complaints about my food, when they are actually open and I am actually able to get it. There have been times when I got my mouth ready for their egg white and spinach omelette or their amazing chicken Caesar salad only to call and call and then go and they are closed. There are no set hours for this place and it is extremely disappointing.

We ordered, it didn’t come for over an hour and a half. The food was cold, fries were soggy, and the food in general was terrible. Never ordering here ever again. Ever. Edit - My boyfriend got extremely nauseas after the food. I didn’t but he had a bacon cheeseburger. He kept saying that the bacon didn’t look cooked properly. This place was just all around bad news.
