Ok, cleaner than last time I visited. And this one is usually a pain to get into because they limit PriorityPass access. I'd say I get inside every 5 or 6 flights.
The bar and bartender is really good, the food selection slim but the food was fresh. No canned soda, only postmix.

Art Lounge feels like the basic all-purpose Lounge for most travellers. When I visited, the space was packed and running out of seating.
The quality of furniture and the ambiance is quite nice. However, I found the food and drink selection really depressingly limited.
Not a bad lounge, but a great lounge either. It's a place I would go if I needed to rest, but definitely wouldn't come early to the airport for, nor would I go out of my way to get there.

First thing first. The pre-security/TSA location of this... uhm... "lounge" defies the entire purpose of a lounge. After a traveller finally clears all tiring and bothersome security checks and put his/her shoes and belts back on, a lounge is supposedly an area conducive to and intended for relaxation. What relaxation could be obtained at the Art & Lounge if one still has to go through all the security hurdles afterwards?
And then the lunge itself, with its meager and sub-quality food and beverage offerings, grumpy staff (we couldn't believe when one of the staff members told us that taking pictures wasn't allowed, something we haven't heard in over twenty years), the interior, crowded, leaving little or no room for relaxation, the dining area resembling of a second-class school cafeteria, the El-Al kosher food section locked and inaccessible for regular passengers, all of the above makes the Art & Lounge the worst lounge we have ever been to, both domestically and internationally, including lounges in the developing countries.
La Compagnie should seriously reconsider its lounge offer, for the latter doesn't fit at all with the stated "business class only boutique airline" agenda.
And why even stay in a lounge like this in the first place? Free wifi is an anachronism nowadays, for Newark offers free wifi everywhere in the airport. Free "food and beverages"? Please. Not worth it. Pass through security, and have a seat at the Belgian Cafe. A more satisfying experience is guaranteed.

Love the convenience of location, it is locate just 2 min walk right side when you exit the air train. ( if you need to board at terminal A, then this is a time saver) No need to go through security check and thats plus. Food is OK not much of selection, and drinks are just basic selection soda, coffee, etc...

Art & Lounge is an airport lounge located at Gate Level, before Security between B2 & B3, next to Duty Free. My friends and I came here on a Saturday night, and found it to be quite empty, with ample couches for us to relax on before our flight.
The lounge provides a selection of food, desserts, and refreshments:
- Food: Options include meatballs, pizza bagels, potatoes, green beans and cauliflower veggie medley, pasta, and a salad bar. Potatoes were good and everything else was mediocre and cold
- Refreshments: Options include tomato juice, soda from the soda machine, hot chocolate and tea packets, and a selection of beer and wine (they card)
- Desserts: Skip the stale cookies and go for the brownies
I've been to many airport lounges both domestic and international, so can safely compare and say that the atmosphere and food of Art & Lounge does not compare well to the other lounges I've stayed at. I would suggest maybe putting on some light background music and maybe some workers that don't stare at you for more than 20 seconds

I went to this lounge before boarding. Staffs are friendly. Good choice of food, drinks and beverages. However, it would be perfect if this place is after the security check and run longer hour.
This place does look quite old and small comparing the lounge in Asia. Well better than nothing.

This is the first lounge I’ve been to and was pretty disappointed. I agree with the other reviewers that the front desk lady is lacking a lot of customer service skills. She’s extremely rude... She looks miserable as all hell. The lounge itself isn’t great. Things are pretty run down. The food was not great either. Had several pasta dishes when I was there...chips were stale. I would definitely not pay to get into the lounge...luckily it was free with a Priority Pass.

The lounge here is very clean and well equipped with drinks and food. The food options are limited but they have a decent drink selection. The staff is friendly. The space has several seating areas and outlets for charging phones and laptops. The WiFi is also very strong which is great!
