Wayback Burgers

I was not pleased with this place. I ordered my food online for immediate pickup, the message read that it would be ready at 1:35 I got there at 1:37-1:40 they hadn't even started my food. It was 2:10 before my food was ready and the fries was supposed to have been a large for $4.95 I was expecting something shareable that little amount for that amount of money was ridiculous. Both Hamburgers were supposed to have had lettuce included neither had lettuce and one was an impossible melt it wasn't. The buns were cold which made the Hamburgers lukewarm. For them to say they were just starting to cook my food it all should have been steaming hot. It's not like they were busy at all, two of the workers were hanging out in the parking lot. This was my first and last time and I don't recommend it. ☹

I remember Jake's Burgers NO WAYBACK People waited a hour or more for the best burger they ever had. This food at Wayback is expensive bad service and nothing like Jake's. The food was cold the idiot packing my food put it in a bag for someone else. Half my milkshake was gone and it was made completely wrong. No carry out for my beverages. I miss the original Jake's Burger so much, wish it would just go back to the way it used to be. Which actually was America's best burger 5 years in a row.. this was completely nasty

Ordered a doordash order online. Everything in the meal was wrong. They didn’t have milkshakes and gave us waters instead. Forgot the soda's. Forgot food. We called the store and they said there was nothing they could do besides give us 20% off our next purchase. Very unprofessional. The food given was still good I guess but not what we wanted. Very disappointing.

I do not recommend the newark delaware location to even my worst enemy. If i could give Zero stars I would. Waited an hour for three burger and a milkshake, and I was the only person in there... by the time i got my food the milkshake was melted and all the burgers burnt and cold at the same time somehow. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Wayback Burgers restaurant.

The restaurant is comically bad. I have an ongoing joke with friends that they always get my order wrong, and they have never failed me. Every order I’ve ever gotten from this restaurant has been wrong. Ingredients missing, entire items missing, wrong items. However, I will continue to order in wait for the day that they one day get it right, I hope never because it’s honestly quite funny

With all the other burger joints around you would think all of them would be wonderful just to keep up with the competition. Lean burgers cooked nicely had little flavor. Fries from fresh potatoes were cooked well but sitting on the counter when I walked in rendering them cold by the time they got to me. Soda machine was low on syrups if every kind. This could have been understandable cept there were only 2 customers and 5 employees all watching the burgers cook.

(My 1st review in 2020 due to the World Wide spread of Covid) I haven't been here in a couple of years... The place is still Clean. No one in the restaurant, so we received our food pretty Quick. The young ladies that work here were very friendly and pleasant. Keep up the good work. The Food was Delicious. 👍
