As ALWAYS for over 40 yrs they are THE BEST Ice cream 🍦 and food spot around.

It's you usual dairy spot in town but they only accept cash. The food was ok, I got a cheeseburger that felt like I was eating bread more than anything. Really skimped out on the inside... ice cream is great though.

Been coming here since my childhood over 20 years. Best chicken and fried ever. The ice cream is so tasty with great price. It's a tradition in the summer to head over at least a few times a month. Great service. Order ahead if you're in a rush. Worth the wait. Quick bite.

Love this place! My daughter and I always enjoy their delicious ice cream, burger boats, sundaes, frozen yogurts, etc., but it's their vanilla egg cream that really does it for us! Yummy!

This place has the greatest soft ice cream around. The food is excellent too and always fresh. The people who wait on you at the window always give you great individual attention and seem always happy to see you there especially if you are a regular.

If you are in the City of Newburgh, and it's a hot day, you will need to go here..
I went here yesterday with a friend to get Ice cream, and the ice cream was good as always.
Their burgers are also good. Flame Broiled, and served with crispy, cold lettuce....When I have a burger here, I know Summer has arrived...
One thing to note, they don't take Credit or Debit cards. CASH ONLY...
There is a good sized parking lot, that is always clean...

Grew up in Newburgh, always used to love eating at Dairy Isle. Visited recently and the woman working the counter had a very nasty attitude over trying to pay for extra sprinkles. Handed me a melted vanilla cone very rudely. Terrible customer service, will not be returning.

Love coming here. Been coming for years. Great food, great people. Just wish they would open in March/April instead of Jun/July.
