I know Taco Bell is fast food and not fine dining, but this location is just awful. We have never gotten our food quickly, and it’s always wrong in some way or another.
The worst instance happened this evening. My husband submitted a mobile order for in store pick up on the app. I went to go pick it up and the door was locked. I called them, and they were only doing drive through. They told me I could wait or call and cancel through the number on the app. Considering the line was wrapped around the building and at a stand still, I attempted to call. There was no number to be found on the app. I called them back to see if they could provide a customer service number. I was told they had no phone numbers and to try Googling it.
I could not find anything, and since we had already paid for dinner for our whole family, I proceeded to get in line. I literally sat in their line for an hour. AN HOUR. AT TACO BELL. Once I got my food, I had to remind them that I had ordered drinks. I then checked that everything was there and felt warm (the app said it had been made a long time before I made it to the window). When I got home to eat, I opened my grilled cheese burrito, and this is how it looked. Ridiculous.
I completely understand that they were short staffed. Everyone is short staffed right now. However, we did exactly what we should have done for a quick and easy experience. We ordered ahead, paid ahead, and it was made. All they had to do was bring it to me at the door and they refused. So instead, I waited for an hour, wasting my time, and received lukewarm, haphazardly prepared food. I could have gone to a sit down restaurant and eaten quicker than this. I have all the patience and understanding for being short staffed, but getting one order out every 7-10 minutes at Taco Bell is absolutely absurd.

One day the dining room is open, the next its closed. When I called to complain the "manager" told me it's because they only have 4 people, that employees keep calling in everyday. Then she said they pay the employees 12 an hour. Not sure if taco bell hasn't noticed, but others in the same job category are paying 15-16 an hour. Maybe u will get employees then. Also the drive through was a joke. Shut our vehicle off for 10 minutes at a time to move up 1 spot, shut it off for 10 minutes, move up another spot. It's absolutely ridiculous. Just fire the "managers" you currently have and start fresh. Other taco bells in the area have workers, and their dining rooms are open, so what is the problem with this one ? 🤔 . It starts with the leadership. Fix the leadership in this store if you want these reviews to change.

The manager at this Taco Bell decides whenever they want the lobby opened or closed, but they will not put any signs up. So I constantly see people trying to avoid the awful long drive through line, only to pull a locked door handle and have to get back in their cars. I called today to tell them to use a sign but I was dismissed. I have filled out the survey on the receipt about the girl at the drive through window not listening to orders only trying to sell combos (-I only want three tacos. “You need to make that a combo” -No. “Whatever, what do you want?”) and being very very rude. You need a new management crew, start over from fresh and pay people livable wages.

Got half of my order, no big deal right? Drive back so I can get it corrected. Line wrapped around the building, doors locked as usual. Employee sitting 3 feet from the door, sees me there with a bag, so clearly there is an issue, but nope. They’re gonna make you wait in line for 20+ minutes so the rest of your food gets cold. Should’ve known to check the bag after having to tell the kid in the drive thru 3 different times what I wanted. But hey, it’s cool. These guys got time to ask customers who their favorite spider-man is, and make write down the results, but screw doing your job right.

Hit & miss if the food will be up to par or if the line doesn't take forever. People consistently drive-thru the parking lot because the line is too long. It would seem this location is simply poorly managed. If staffing is a problem, give raises! Adapt or suffer!! This place is suffering. I simply don't go here anymore.

I haven't been to Taco Bell since they took the Mexican Pizza off the menu. Thet brought it back and I went back. I've missed my Mexican Pizza! It was great and so was the service.

My experience was wonderful. The girl at the drive through menu speaker was energetic, yet polite. The guy at the window smiled and said thank you. My order was correct and the food was delicious. Long line but I can see why.. I'd wait in the line again for the experience I had this evening. Thanks, Taco Bell Newburgh crew! 🙌🏻⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This store is notorious for skimpy portions. Will never go back to this store again. Attached is my soft shell supreme. Isn't that the saddest looking taco ever?
