Excellent dumplings and bao buns. The dumpling pastry was delicately thin and the filling perfectly generous and equally delicious. The char siu bao was also very tasty and well cooked. Lovely place for a quick but tasty meal

Friday noon party of three sampling 16 dumplings and 3 Char Siu Bao pork buns. Delicious! Small place with counter seating and 3 small tables. Definitely a must try.

Decent dumplings and left satisfied for the price. We had to wait a long time though. Would recommend pan fried over steamed.

Went here many times in the early morning. They upgraded from using disposable bowls to nice bowls as seen in the pictures. My family and I all ordered noodle soup. The wonton, vegetable, and spicy chicken. They’re all very good! The noodles taste very fresh 😊 The ladies behind the bar are nice and friendly too. 10/10 would recommend if you want something different in the morning.

For me, the food here is not as good as people think, but i can understand that locals enjoy this kind of chinese food thats more suited to their taste, but still relatively authentic
Got some bao and some dumplings. The dumplings had quite a small amount of fillings and it wasnt hot. I recommend getting them pan fried. Same thing with the bao, not hot, unless they have to make it on the spot
The prices are ok but I was slightly disappointed by the taste
The chinese staff are friendly and tend to your requests.

Best dumplings in Newcastle . Tried almost all their variants in past few weeks. Love their chilli beef one and pork and cabbage one. Buns are really yummy too.
I would also highly recommend their spicy beef noodles. It’s a warm bowl of love for a cold day. Very flavorful and a good portion size.
Try their buns as well it’s yumm too a lot of different fillings to choose from and the chilly oil and condiments take it to another level. It’s just too good !!!
This place will never disappoint you.

Amazing spicy chicken broth noodles! Very pleasant people as well. Not a lot of space to sit around but that's the nature of the shops in the Grainger market.

Always the best fresh made dumplings. I've been coming for years with my daughters , now my daughter comes with her uni mates.
Dumplings are mouthwatering and simply divine.
Definitely one of the places to go when in Newcastle.

Absolutely the best dumplings in Newcastle! We will be returning here, and they do delivery on delivery, and just eat. You can have boiled or fried dumplings with loads of options and very fair prices. Friendly staff.
