Dog And Scone

My mam took me here for my birthday yesterday. It was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The prices were all reasonable and the staff were superb. All of the dogs were so stinkin' CUTE! They were well behaved and so friendly, and each had their own personality. The rules were fair and clearly explained, and it was great fun to be able to sit and have coffee and get down to their level to play with and pet them. The soft music playing in the background was a great touch, it wasn't too loud, it created a friendly atmosphere but it wasn't overbearing. We were provided with treats to give to them at the end and I was even given a birthday cake for my birthday which was a lovely touch. The store at the end was great too with the usual bits like keyrings, badges and other stuff featuring the dogs. It was clean and didn't smell like dogs at all. The clean venue, soft music, friendly staff, super cute dogs and yummy food all came together to make a quaint atmosphere and overall sublime experience. Could not have asked for a better way to spend my birthday, defo would recommend.

The hot chocolate was delicious and fantastic price. Towards the end of my visit, I was pleasantly surprised to be given treats to engage with the dogs, which added an extra dimension of fun. The dogs seemed to enjoy their time there and they were really well-behaved and adorable. It's a small and clean cafe with approximately half a dozen tables and a pleasant peaceful atmosphere. Excellent location. Overall, it was an excellent experience that I wholeheartedly recommend.

We came all the way from Leeds to visit Dog and Scone and it was well worth the 200 mile round trip! Having visited cat cafes before I was expecting it to be packed and noisy but it was the polar opposite. It's a small cafe with about half a dozen tables and the place had a lovely quiet vibe (perhaps helped by having no young children around). The food and drink offering was great (fantastic coffee!) and the staff were absolutely lovely. Of course everyone comes for the dogs and they were fantastic - really happy and well cared for and completely loving the strokes and attention they were getting. All in all, a really wholesome fun experience. We will definitely be back!

I have been here multiple times over the years. Recently they have had fewer dogs than before. The older and more approachable ones are retired now, but I still like it. They will show you a chart of doggies' names, will let you hold them for a bit (but you have to wait for your turn), and give you food to feed them. They also started sailing dog-themed products which is nice. Their tea and scones are good and affordable. It’s a nice place to chill with cute doggies and some other dog lovers.
