Jam Jar

This is such a quirky fun place for a foodie and the minimal menu means that everything they do they do excellently. The cocktail menu is quirky with some classics and jammy hour 2 for 12 cocktails is a winner. The food was gorgeous and the snug was a lovely cosy corner away from the more pub/bar busy vibe and created a very cute almost private dining experience for us due to noone else sitting In that area with us. My cocktail was amazing and even came with a fresh flower and as the others in the party don't drink they made mocktails based on the cocktails for them which was really lovely and made everyone feel extra special. There is no table service which is a shame especially if there are students drinking and you go for a meal with a totally different vibe but outside of that it's somewhere I would go to again.

We came for breakfast on a Saturday and returned on the Sunday because the food was delicious. We were served by a professional and kind woman called Rachel. She made us feel back at home (we are Irish!!) and her service was impeccable. Good reviews all round would strongly recommend Jam Jar. Thank you Racheal!

Had brunch here for the first time today. When we arrived it was pretty empty. The server came over straight away to take my drink order and it came out quickly. The coffee is lovely and the perfect temperature. The food is wonderful and so fresh. I really enjoyed going here and would not hesitate to return for brunch ! I had the chorizo hash which is served on sourdough. I opted to add a poached egg which was cooked to perfection.

The staff were really kind and attentive. Me and my boyfriend order starters and mains as well as cocktails. The cocktail list was really good with a lot of variety. The starters were the best part (we had the chicken strips and deep fried Camembert). Mains were good but nothing compared to the starters. Would definitely go back but for a selection of the starters in stead of a main meal :)
