Damn, what can I say? The burgers are damn near perfect, it's quiet, the service is fast and the staff are friendly. I'm sad I don't live in Newcastle so I can't try more of the menu. Succulent, juicy patties, perfectly seasoned, well thought out combinations of ingredients that let the beef shine. Perfectly crisp fries and honestly really good beer on tap! Some reviews complain about the price, but if you want a top tier burger, you get what you pay for. Go here!

A friend of mine recommended this place so gave it a go. Texas BBQ burger with 2chicken tenders, loaded fries& choc milkshake Everything about this was amazing, especially the milkshake & chicken tenders, the batter was so light that it pretty much melted in ma mouth, the milk shake actually tasted like a proper choc milkshake, not to think but full of flavour. If u like ya burgers defo give this place a try

Unbelievable chicken! Having been meaning to try this place for a long time I was really excited for one of the burgers. But the fried chicken tenders I had stole the show. Super crispy coating and perfect juicy chicken. The burger was damn good too though! I had the Char Sui special. Really nice flavours. Definitely recommend for burgers and chicken! I'm sure I'll be back in the future.

It's been a long time since I've been to Newcastle nearly 2.5yrs. And much has been vacated in terms of bars and pubs. However I was told to try Meat Stack. After a brief wander I found it although it seemed quiet, service was friendly but with its menu and offers I opted to try the all in consisting of double cheeseburger, 2 chicken tenders , fries, 2 dips and a soft drink or beer. It was her ei spotted a missed favourite PBR past blue ribbon beer beloved of so many including Macklemore but more for my time in Milwaukee working. It did not take too long for the meal. It was impressive fries were crisp and the ranch dip superb. What I did not expect were the chicken tenders I say OMG, the coating was insane and dipped in ranch just stunning chicken as moist as can be. I savoured every morsel and I mean every morsel. The cheeseburger was next and right up there with many moist and flavourful patties. However such was the impression of the chicken whilst speaking to one of the staff he recommended the garlic tenders. Another PBR beer as well. Well despite a dip been offered the chicken tender drenched in a good way. The garlic butter was somehow a sweeter tang to it was informed they add maple syrup as well. Just brill, if it wasn't for the fact I was as happy a sa oig in the proverbial mire, ii would stay and try more. Its that good, some if not the best chicken tenders ever. Seriously if its a burger or chicken tenders this is the place, cheers

In my opinion the best burgers in Newcastle (and I have tried several). This is our go to place! Their menu is simple without millions of choices but all are great. Their specials are worth a try and often make it into their menu for a while. The beef burgers themselves always taste of good quality meat. The beef dripping fries are awesome! Would highly recommend either the restaurant or a takeaway from these guys.

What an amazing burger. This is by far the best burger in town. I tried this place for the first time after a recommendation, the recommendation was a winner. I went for a single Mexican burger, the high quality meat and sauce was the perfect combination with a few jalapenos thrown in for kick. Awesome.

Update (26th Jan 2024): While I understand that business cost are going to be passed onto the customer, Meat:Stack's steep increase in price over the past year have made it less value for money that it used to be. £15.45 for a burger, a side of chips and a refillable drink is verging on the side of sit down restaurant prices. ----------------------------------------------- Meat:Stack is by far the best burger spot in the North East. The consistent quality of the food put out is outstanding. I visited Meat:Stack this week and had their September special, the 'That Gochujang-thang'. This consisted of Spicy Block and Bottle Black Pudding, Korean Style BBQ Sauce, Smoky Mountain Mayo, House Green Relish, Pickled Chillies, lettuce and crushed peanuts. The burger had a satisfying umami experience, accompanied by a delightful sharp and tangy quality through the BBQ sauce and Mayo. While spicy, this burger doesn't knock your head off which makes it even better. To accompany this I had fries (which were light and fluffy) and a refillable drink, opting for the cherry coke option. Cost: Burger (double patty) = £9.5 Meal Upgrade (Fries and refillable drink) = £3.5 Total =£13 I am more than happy to pay this price for the quality of ingredients and cooking. Dining in is a great experience, the interior is well decorated and throughout with a mixture of seating for groups or a person on their own. It is also always really clean with staff promptly cleaning tables etc after a patron leaves. Just the kind of place you go out your way to visit.
