I ca only comment on the food I had, it was a Burns night supper of Haggis, needs and tattie. Well presented and tasty enough, but not very much and not very hot.
I've heard the food is generally very good but I have to go with what I experienced.
There was a quiz on which was very popular and the bar was busy. Atmosphere was great and the beer selection is extensive.

Friendly neighbourhood pub, nice beers including some of their own brews, at fair prices. Old style interior but I like that. Lots of students, young people and alternative types. Dog friendly. They also serve food.

Christmas themed pizzas, burgers, etc., to eat. Last food orders were 2045hrs. Great friendly atmosphere. Dogs welcome. Plenty of parking.

Haven't been in for Year's, but it was great, lovely & warm as it was freezing outside, fantastic Pint of Guinness & Blackcurrant..

Very good pub just off Chillingham Road. Good selection of ales, lagers, and ciders. Looking at the menu, there are a few dishes I haven't seen anywhere else, so it's worth a visit for a few reasons. Staff are very friendly and helpful and, lots of space inside. Very very popular Thursday nights for the quiz.

This was the third post funeral do we have had there in the last 3 years. Food was spot on excellent sandwiches a delicious mushroom curry Cakes were great and lots of salad and nan breads. Best one so far...and the food kept on coming. Well done excellent
