Have just polished off a delicious fish and chip from Dhillons fish inn Throckley! Truly lovely friendly staff, piping hot food and very tasty homemade tartar sauce…….I was so excited to eat I left without my drink!🙈

This chip shop has THE BEST SERVICE in throckley, the food is amazing, the service is superb and I won't go to another chip shop, even if I have to move out of the area, dhillons will be a weekly trip!

Turned up, place was absolutely rammed, que out the door. Got to the till and ended up buying one of there meal deals. Excellent value for money. Service was very fast considering the Que before us and everything we order double checked to make sure nothing was left out. After being away for a few weeks the food certainly went down a treat. 5⭐️

I don’t get fish and chips often but when I do it’s from here (or occasionally the kebab meet, chips and salad when I really want to treat myself). Always good standard and if you call ahead you get an order number so no queueing. The visit this weekend got me a free sample of tartar sauce which I never really bother with but this was delicious. Fish and chips have got expensive these days, best to pick the best places to buy it from.

Got served by a lovely man with the nicest smile ever. Was really friendly,created an amazing atmosphere, tripled checked the order and kept on offering salt and vinegar. Food was banging and usual and even got a free slice of pizza. 100/10

Best chippy around, live in Greenside and I drive over just to go here. Owner is lovely too, even gave my son a free brownie.
