An old pub with lots of original features. Very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. Had a very tasty Sunday lunch. We could have stayed all afternoon. Can't wait to go back.

Always love popping into the Carriage if out for an afternoon walk close by.
The choice of beers is great, especially dark ales.
Service is great and staff are always friendly. Love the fact character of the pub has been kept especially the fire 😁

Lovely old school bar serving great food, great eclectic mix of people, the food was lovely although we only had the chips as a snack these weren't your usual chips (deep brown cooked thrice)had a lovely pint of Guinness as it was paddy's day after all 'ta be shore'.
Barman lovely and helpful great place hidden away just off the road or go under tunnel by the 'metro'

Only 4 stars as pub was very cold .only 1 of the 3 fires lite and the pub was fairly busy.everyone wearing coats.

One of my favourite pubs I’ve been to - I’d visit a lot if I lived in Newcastle! Very cosy spot, super cool decorations, delicious vegan roast and snacks, nice board games, cool music.

Great pub near Jesmond metro, lovely cask beers on tap and great atmosphere and decor inside. Definitely worth a visit if nearby

Great pub, lovely atmosphere and an amazing menu. Little tip: if you use the designated parking make sure you record validating it, as the parking company tried to fine us even though we'd validated it as stated.
