I live in Ryton, but I am happy to travel here to meet my friends for a girly night of drinks & food, as it's an absolutely great pub. The staff are brilliant, very friendly & can't do enough for you. Their approach to giving excellent customer service is 10/10 from us. The menu has a great selection of meals & the offers are good value, especially with a drink included. For a branch of Wetherspoons the food is delicious & the atmosphere & people who drink & eat there ate always well behaved, chatty & friendly, its definitely the best Spoons I've ever been to & return to again & again. The building is gorgeous too, as the old Whickham Town Hall (I think). The ladies are upstairs & huge, it's just a pity it didn't have a bigger carpark!

One of the best Weatherspoons I've been in. Standard spoons menu. Lovely environment, staff were fantastic. Very quick to clear the table, very pleasant and nice. Top notch. The sort of place I'd go out of my way to go to

Very nice Witherspoon's, went for breakfast twice, good food, usual men drinking Stella at 9.30am plus a guy on white wine at 9.45am,😬

The Food was good, warm and well sized, the atmosphere was pleasant and not to quiet or loud.
The staff were friendly, well presented and helpful and the building was clean and inviting.
Quite deceiving parking instructions with limited places around the building.
Lots of local plants outside to help with local beauty.
