The Holystone Bar And Restaurant

I stayed her with my family for a night. The restaurant part was great. The rooms however, weren't so great. For starters when we arrived, before we even settled in, the strike plate of the door lock came out of the wall after my brother opened the door. It came out so easily becasue it was only secured into the wall with 1 screw, instead of 2. The smoke detector in our room was also hanging off the ceiling and wasn't screwed in properly. The bathroom wasn't very good either. The bathroom door doesn't have a lock on it. There's also no toilet roll holder in the bathroom either, but because the bathroom itself is so small, the sink is positioned right infront of the toilet and makes it very hard to sit on the toilet. Also, there's no shower mat in the shower and I almost slipped up a couple of times

We were going to Toby carvery but it was an hour wait. Popped in here and so glad Toby’s was full. Food was delicious especially the cheesy garlic mushrooms. We then both had the Sunday roast one chicken and one beef. Wow 5 different veg, roast and mashed tatties and a huge Yorkshire pudding. All This covered in delicious gravy. Price was amazing as were the staff well worth a visit.
